Partial to the odd curry, I grow my own chillis and make a kick ass (thats the next day reaction) chilli pickle, but my mate bought me a pack of these:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Insane-Rea...95633&sr=8-1&keywords=carolina+reaper+peanuts

Stupidly I downed a handfull, big mistake.

That being said, another recomendation I can make us here:
    http://www.solita.co.uk/

    Their wings are incredible:

CRY FOR HELP ⁕⁕⁕ WARNING: EXTREMELY HOT ⁕⁕⁕ ..£7.50 Naga chilli and not much else.

When I ordered them the waiter asked me if I was sure. Only managed 3.

    Anyone else like it spicy?

I like a chilli but not to that extent.
I thought this might be about the film, which is one of my favourites!

    I do love spicy food.

Tried making my own hot sauce last weekend actually.. didn't go as well as I'd hoped though

Try again. The first couple of batches I made were mediocre, last years was good, this years is great.

Buffalo Wild Wings in America do about a dozen different flavoured/heat level wings. Their 'Blazin' is definitely a challenge.
There's also a chilli shop in the mall of America, they sell chilli sauces as well as everything else chilli related. Their hottest sauce at about $100 was out of my price range but they had this for about $10...

It registers 1 million on the Scoville chart and the cap contains a type of dropper cos thats all you need, one drop, to spice up an entire meal. Put one drop on your tongue is like spraying yourself with pepper spray.
It's available online too, if you dare mwahahaha!

I love spicy food, if you can, try Reaper pork scratchings! I'll try and find a link for them.

I love spicy food but I find anything above a standard "medium hot" makes me hiccup uncontrollably. Any tips?

Cheers for the link PO may well be worth an investment

Part of me thinks that adding capsicum extract rather than getting the heat and taste from natural Chillis is cheating. For me it's a bit like Brewdog distilling beers to get their stupid % abvs.

Naga chillis are about as hot as they come and some register at 1M Sco

It's all a bit artificial. When I make a curry I put in chopped up chillies for heat but I also put in whole chillies which are removed after cooking. That way you get the subtle flavour of the chilli without bonkers heat. Flavour and heat rather than just heat.

    Just found this site:
    http://www.scottrobertsweb.com/scoville-scale/

    Blair’s 16 Million Reserve
"Blair’s 16 Million Reserve is the latest in the line of reserves from Blair. This reserve bottle contains 1ml of pure capsaicin crystals. 16 Million Reserve is not to be consumed or even opened without using extreme caution. Only 999 of Blair’s 16 Million will be produced, so get yours quick!"
You cannot get any hotter. This (and the Blair’s 6 AM below) reach the maximum Scoville Rating of 16 million. This is pure capsaicin.
    16,000,000 3200 times hotter

There may well be a similar shop in the UK now (it's been a while) but if ever you find yourself t'other side of the pond this place (it's a chain, I didn't realise this before) is definitely worth a visit. It's the chilli shop in the Mall of America ((Minneapolis) I mentioned previously, but also other places:

Spicy food is my favourite. Unfortunately finding a good curry around these parts is difficult, the Yanks in the mid-west are pretty spice-averse. Managed to get to know the owners of the best local Indian restaurant and they now give me "off the menu" hot dishes so mostly got that sorted now, but it does mean I can't get a good hot curry elsewhere.

Lots of Thai places around here though, which also have some great spicy offerings.

On a somewhat related note, I'm trying to remember the name of that mix of nuts that comes pre-spiced to a relatively mild level. I haven't had it in years and I wanted to see if I could order some and get it shipped here, but I can't remember the damn name (which is stupid because I used to buy it all the time). Anyone able to jog my memory?

I love spicy food and get huge endorphin rushes from even hugely painful mouthfuls of chilli. I've been seen licking a plate of hot pepper sauce, with tears pouring, snot streaming and a huge, euphoric grin on my idiotic visage.

However, I steer clear of anything which is branded with faux-masculine dead heads or warning signs. When the aim of the product is merely to cause pain rather than taste delicious whilst doing so, then I bow out.

In my drunken youth I snorted a line of chilli flakes in a well known pizza restaurant chain. Not recommended.

You would have to be drunk to step foot inside a Pizza Hut. Would rather a £1 frozen Iceland pizza.

Hey, you know what Dom I've misled you. I got my sauces confused (it was 15 years ago!) The sauce I bought from Mall of America was called Da Bomb 'The Final Answer':
That's the one with the dropper in the cap. Hope I've not caused you any expense or annoyance.
