There seems to be a lot of doom and gloom on here . So I’m starting a thread looking at who was the nicest person to wear a Watford shirt. Please make nominations . Please don’t nominate anyone from the current squad as they’re all a waste of space .

I’d go for Al Bangura . Always played with a smile on his face , seemed like a lovely guy.

How do we know they are actually nice and not just pretending and smiling for the camera? I think we need a definition of nice. And what is the latest on your aunts pussy?

It's almost impossible to say. What a player is like on and off the pitch can vary. If we are talking on the pitch - I would have to go for G Noel Willisms. A real pleasure to watch
especially in our 98/99 season - played with energy and motivation. Some of that may of come from the excellent man-management of Graham Taylor, but he wore Watford on
his sleeve. A more current one would probably be Ben Foster - smiles a lot, but then again probably wants to look nice to other teams so he can add to his shirt collection. :p

I know you said don't mention anyone from the current squad but I have had the pleasure of meeting Big Ben on a few occasions and he really is one the nicest people you could meet.

Gomes hands down! Met him Deeney and Vydra 5 years ago for my 30th with my wife. She hates football but always asks about the nice tall Goalkeeper she met - she says Vydra was a bit shy and Deeney seemed 'grumpy'
Better analysis than Alan Shearer there!
Gomie was just a 7ft grinning machine greeted us and the other guests like we were long lost friends great guy

I'm the nicest bloke in a Watford shirt when I'm having a beer and a burger before the game, not usually that nice after the game though!

Rumour has it Robert Mugabe was a Watford fan and often wore the Solvite shirt whilst torturing political opponents

In SGT's day we had a club curate. Some smart Alec will recall his name.
