Surely nothing could ever make him grumpier than being replaced for a time by Zeegelaar ? There can be no greater slap round the chops.
Holebas is a good player but very long in the tooth. The day is not far off when he will just transition to grumpy old man full time.

The only reason we'd be going for him is because he's decent and cheap. Maybe we sign and send him out on loan for now, but it's certainly not a position we need to fill.
We won't have the mad Greek for long given his age. We do need to be getting replacements lined up or its a case of "step forward Zeegelaar".
I agree with this, but it's not exactly a selling point to a prospective player when he will know he's got little chance of getting into the first team at this stage. At 25 he's not a youngster. Having said that, I'd love to see his somersaulting throws ins. He's decent and undervalued, because of his contract situation. Regardless that it's not a position we need cover for right now, he does tick a lot of boxes for a Pozzo signing.
I imagine he woud go straight in as first choice. I doubt the mad Greek will be first choice by the end of the season and I'm not sure Massina is quick enough.
His foul throws would almost certainly be more entertaining than Holebas' efforts. It's a yes from me.
