Great, if this is true we will no doubt snatch their hands off, but somehow me thinks it isn't :D

Everton obviously realise that there's a Snake Premium on any transactions between us.

Justice for Janmaat. Once again, Femenia is s**te.

Can’t believe Bournemouth or Everton didn’t trump our scouts and get him first

He's hit or miss, but that was probably the worst performance I've seen him put in. He was trying but nothing came off at all and was disposed in dangerous areas consistently, catching our backline out. Janmaat and Femenia being close to each other ability wise isn't a compliment to either player; Janmaat is a little more rounded but has brain farts in him (Cardiff away, how that wasn't a penalty I will never know) whereas Femenia is a little more consistent but overall a lesser fullback.

A year ago people on here were saying how great he looked and what a steal he was.
He's occasionally looked good going forward, eg the Gray chance he set up on Saturday, but he has absolutely always looked a complete lightweight at the back as far as I've seen. Outmuscled countless times. I'd play Janmaat ahead of him every time., and he's poor defensively.

I think him and Janmaat are pretty much equally as crap and inconsistent. Janmaat will probably play next week and do alright for a couple of games, before completely falling apart (physically and or mentally) upon which Femina will return. He’ll do okay for a couple of games, then fall apart (physically and or mentally).

Unless Javi gives us all what we’ve been hoping for, which is to give Folquier a chance to woo us with his own unique blend of crap RB play.

    At least he ****ing tried.

Some of our players didn't and gave up, hopefully they get more criticism than Kiko.

He’s too lightweight in my opinion. It’s embarrassing watching him trying to make tackles and bouncing off players who just carry on their merry way as if he wasn’t there.

Janmaat started last season excellently before getting injured and losing his place for the rest of the season. Would definitely give him another chance.

Literally all he has is a bit of pace. He can't pass, he can't cross, he can't tackle, his positional sense is crap and he's as brave as a mouse.

Janmaat isn't a good defender but I'd still say he's a notch above Femenia in that department, and he offers a LOT more going forward and on the ball.

The thing that I see with Femenia is a ‘full-back’ who used to be a winger earlier in his career and has never quite nailed the switch. He’s now neither one nor the other and looks completely out of place in Gracia’s one and only formation. I agree that Janmaat is by far a preferable option at present.

Kiko has been regressing on almost a game-by-game basis for nearly a year now.

Our formation, where the wide midfielders can wander off inside and demands the FBs provide the width leaves Kiko, Janmast etc onto a hiding to nothing.

Absolute bargain signing who's been great for us. Consistently below average with a **** attitude which is all we can ask for really.

No. He needs benching. Janmaat and Masina in. Holebas looks tired and ineffectual.

I honestly cannot take it any more. I cannot even stomach the idea of this useless, waste of air being at the club any longer.

I used to like him and he had some good games for us. But I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a decent performance from him. I like Janmaat, but he's a bit injury prone... we need a new RB this Jan. (Add it to the list)

He just looks done for. Absolutely no confidence. I almost feel sorry for the guy because he just carries himself like a bloke who realizes he has no business being out there. Cleverley ended up basically playing his position at the end because Kiko was completely broken.

Thought Foster was 75% responsible for the goal myself, if he's going to come he has to get the ball

Sure I've read before Femenia suffered panic attacks when he first started playing football, looks like a rabbit in headlights now

It certainly seems now that it's a confidence / mentality issue. It's not like he's not trying. Needs to be on the bench for the foreseeable future, perhaps getting some minutes if we ever (!) find ourselves with a comfortable lead, see if he can get his mojo back a bit.

Sorry but Femenia has lost the plot, that was woeful yesterday, as Foster clearly called for him to get out of the way

Agreed. Foster did call, yes Kiko was in his way. But he should of took the ball cleanly and wiped out anybody who was in his way,be it our defender or not.

For what was a cowardly and weak foul to boot.

Pretty much everything he did in his short cameo appearance was totally awful. I had hoped that he would have improved whilst out of the side, but he was probably about 40% worse than the utter dog **** he was before Janmaat came into the side.

He looks finished as a footballer, let alone at this level. I suspect he's suffering under a lack of confidence, but I don't know if there's a way back for him with us. Not in the short term, certainly.
