I guess Gino isn't prepared to spend the sort of money others are to improve our chances of staying up when it might not be necessary and might not save us anyway. If we go down, we go down. Life goes on. We have a smaller budget/fan base than most around us and he isn't prepared to outspend our resources. Sad but the reality.

Given the lies or mixed viewpoints we’ve been fed by Silva, Giraldi and Duxbury in recent months, I do wonder why we listen to anything the club says at the minute. Now Gracia is getting in on the act saying we have ‘Big Heart’ when the past couple of months have shown the exact opposite! People at this club need an urgent crash course in truthful and positive PR.

True. But the club seem to say at every possible chance that the coach doesn't affect signings. So we should still be looking at those type of signings regardless.

The time is 00:01 on 01/02/2018 We have signed Aden Flint, Dendoncker, Gaitan, Dahlberg, Ings (on loan) and a LB and we get news that Hoban is very close to fitness along with others. We have sold Britos, Capoue, Okaka, Zeegelaar/Holebas. Then and only then, will I have hope.
I will genuinely be in Iceland on a Northern Lights tour when the window closes. As close to being smacked off my **** as I can get! If I see Helguson on my week there, going to offer to sell my house and give him the money to return for 6 months.
Sadly this wonderful scenario is more likely to be 3 or 4 bit part squad players and the grim realisation that this season has royally messed up. I'm so miserable I even for a split second began thinking maybe Silva the snake was right.....
As for selling Capoue. Any scout yesterday would've been able to write a report on him in four words. Lazy waste of space.
Nicolas Tagliafico already settling into the Eredivisie. Granted it's not the toughest league in Europe but already in his first game won the MOTM award. Why an earth Giraldi missed out on such a player in such a critical position for us and at such a price beats me.
Surprised this hasn’t already been menti9ned but why not go for Gabbiadini? He must be even further down the pecking order now that they have that new striker. If we used the money from Deeney to get him in it would certainly soften the blow of Deeney leaving more that some of other clowns being linked.
If we don't bring in a left back before the window ends, a huge weakness in our squad for the last 4/5 transfer windows, then we deserve to be relegated.
Daniel Sturridge on loan? If fit, he's as clinical as they come. If not, our medical department can use him as a medical guinea pig to practice innovative procedures.
