    Meanwhile in A. N. Other parish I frequent the loathsome Geordies are in meltdown* as rumours of the despised Mike Ashley selling up grow...Tee-hee!!

    *At one stage there was a serious argument of "...how it would only take 200,000 Geordies to take out a second mortgage to get £1000 each to buy the club..."
