    Just a rumour but looks the sort of deal WFC look for under Gino.

    Reyes is currently a free agent after being released by Porto.

    A centre-back, 6' 2" and only 25.

    DIEGO REYES has held talks with four Premier League clubs as he decides his next career move.

    The free agent has attracted a wealth of interest after being released by Porto earlier this summer.
    Despite missing out on a place in Mexico's World Cup squad through a hamstring injury, Reyes has been busy in recent weeks, holding discussions with a number of clubs across Europe.

    Newcastle and West Ham were said to be heavily interested in the player last week.

    And Express Sport can reveal they are just two Premier League sides to have held positive talks with Reyes over the last few days.
    Two previously unnamed sides, Brighton and Watford, have also discussed terms with the 25-year-old, who is currently mulling over his next career move.

    La Liga duo Real Betis and Sevilla have both have both expressed an interest in Reyes since his Porto exit, while Espanyol are mulling over a deal should they offload a centre-back of their own.

    Express Sport also understands the player will make a decision over his future this week.

    Appears to have a good track record and pedigree, though it then begs the question as to why he's leaving Porto on a free?!

    Also, supposedly Newcastle are closest to signing him.

    Could well turn out to be like Layun - arrive on a free, score against Everton, then shoot off overseas giving the club a nice little profit by doing so.

    So why did he barely play for Porto, who kept loaning him out ? Porto reserves, Real Sociedad and espanyol isn't a great CV but more importantly he is free......

    Porto have other good defenders and maybe his face didn’t fit. 53 caps for Mexico at the age of 25 suggests he has some talent.
