Yeah I seen a few on eBay but the price for the worst era ones (2005/6/7/8/9) is a piss take

Has anyone actually ever knowingly paid £120-£150 for a Watford shirt?

Or do these chancers just stick them up hoping someone drunkenly bids on one by mistake? or misreads the ad and thinks it's £1.50?

It's gotta be this one. I cry myself to sleep thinking about its beauty.

Not strictly an "away" top - but I really like this design.

I thought the "girls" had to play in the same kit as the "boys".

The Watford Ladies setup isn't officially associated with the club so aren't allowed to use the badge. The newly formed Watford Ladies academy however are, but still think they have their own kit.

Unfairly denigrated and scorned - our most beautiful away shirt in history. I have one of these somewhere in the back of a drawer...

Forgot about that one, it's well nice. Especially compared with the horror show from the previous year:

My favourite WFC shirt. When it came out, at the time I was playing for a team in a Leicester five a side league. The first time I turned up for training wearing it my team mates loved it so much they wanted it as our strip. The majority of the lads in the team supported Leicester but it didn't seem to bother them. We didn't have online shopping facilities at Watford fc then, so I purchased six shirts from the hornet shop in person. You'll be pleased to know, we absolutely stormed the league. Happy times.

Still got and wear mine - incidently "God" told me (in Kaunas) it was his favourite (I wasn't wearing it at the time - my Litho other half was)...

It was a great kit BUT dreadfully common.

I have never bought anything other than a glorious yellow home shirt if truth be told.

I have the blue loans.co.uk kit. as well as the yellow one but I think they were jobbing them off at a tenner.
Not bought a top for years, mainly because I'm a skinflint and when they go on sale they don't have them in the right size to cover my powerfully built frame but also because yellow clashes with my eyes.

Wore this one every game during the 98/99 promotion season, including at Wembley. Most people I know hated it - I've always loved it (and it still fits nearly 20 years later!)

Got the Goalkeeper shirt with (Well padded!) shoulders and elbows. Was PotGuy's and then was mine when I was 6-8.

I have. I also paid £400 for an entire set of 1984 match worn kit a few years ago - they’re worth between £300 and £500 each now

Match worn i can understand, or something ultra rare, but not the bog standard old shirts i see.

I think some of them are actually modern day retro tops you can get in the club shop, being passed off as originals.
and as for "squad signed" football shirts.. i'm rather sceptical.

I like a squad signed shirt, but usually because my son gets them done at the open day :D

I can’t believe someone has bothered to make fake Watford shirts, but I’ve seen a few on eBay recently - vintage Man Utd, Liverpool and West Ham shirts sell for a fortune (can’t remember his name, but the marketing manager we got from West Ham a few years ago said they could put a badge on a turd and it’d sell for £10 a time there o_O )
