When Gray has a strike partner to feed off of, he looks much more comfortable and seems to be capable of stretching teams. When played up front alone he goes missing for large chunks of the game.
Is the Ox a Little Mix partner too then? Wonder how his other half felt about the move from London to Liverpool..

He has to remain patient and wait for his chance. Deeney has got the shirt and is performing. Would anyone have backed Gray to have taken that chance Deeney had yesterday? Gray has had many opportunities like that this season and has fluffed his lines every time. The club does not serve the player, the player serves the club. You've got to deliver on a regular basis, and if you don't you end up on the bench.
Not sure what you have against him. He scored in 2 in his last 2 starts, so he's obviously disappointed not to be getting games. Deeney has fluffed just as many chances as Gray has, there's no point pretending he hasn't.

The Times has been giving a lot of credit for England's performance to attacking coach Allan Russell, who has been working with them for the past year. Before that he was earning a living through one-to-one coaching of individual players - including, for the two years when he scored a lot of goals, Andre Gray. Gray gave him effusive praise in Saturday's Times and said it was a shame he wasn't able to see much of him last season. Just saying.

I've been very critical of Gray on here, and posted this on the interests.of fair play. A bit disappointing that nobody has responded to it
Another miss for Andre?! I still believe he had something of the fuzzy end of the lollipop last season and think he has more to offer than Deeney and Okaka,not sure I want him as first choice however.
