We won the global arena cup but lost the sanex cup. Shame because sanex is kind you your skin.

Michael Folivi scored twice for Coventry last night, where he is on loan. Trouble is that it was for their U23-team. I kind of find it disappointing that we've loaned him out just to play for their U23s. I'm not sure he's even made the bench for their senior team yet.

He's been injured the whole time. Last night was his first game for them.

Folivi was playing up front with Yakubu last night for Coventry's u23s and they'll both be competing for a place in the squad for Sunday's EFL Trophy final. It's good that Folivi scored twice but I imagine that Yakubu might get the nod for his movement off the ball:

The Yak had pulled his hamstring, Coventry had made all of their subs and thus was asked just to stay on the pitch and be a body out there.

Tyrell Robinson has scored again for the Under 23s, his third already and he's only been here a month or so. Sounds like he's getting a contract too.

Christ - what do they see in him. Obviously never came and watched while at Watford.

Always amazes me how intelligent business men do crazy things once become football chairman

Maybe they think he might be able to persuade some of our youngsters to come over to Crawley, after all PL apprentices could make 1st team players at Crawley's level.

Obi has been released. Seems like it was only yesterday when United took him on trial as a 15/16 year old. A shame, but it seems he's just not kicked on enough since then. Good luck to him.

How many did we offer Pro deals to?

Maybe they will see how Mason and others got a chance and might give it a go?

Well be a good thing for injured players and youngsters maybe not getting enough games in the Under 23 league which seems to be a bit hit and miss.

Might mean we enter the Checktrade trophy and play Luton at some point maybe!

Yippee. Another relaunch. Can't say it doesn't need it but seems like absolute chaos behind scenes sometimes. I expect Scott's brief was to recommend whatever he liked other than Cat A.

We should never have downgraded the academy, closed harefield and sold Hodson

I was pleased to see we're going to play a B team as well as an u-23 team.

As I understand it, our u-18s will play for the U23s and the U23s will mainly play for the B team in order to give each level a step up.

Hopefully this will let our squad players get more regular game time and get them a bit sharper. Maybe see some of the U23s get a bit more 1st team minutes too.

Why don't we have reserves and juniors, like we used to?
I used to love the Combination, then the London Midweek league for the reserves, and the South East Counties league for the juniors.

As far as I'm aware, we need to have an U23 side. It is part of the conditions of having a category A/B/C side - otherwise teams can nab our talented youth for pittance.

    Dissapointing.

Read the B team title and imagined a ford transit of wanted petty criminals fighting for local independent business men featuring:

An older gentleman with a vaping habit
A slightly overweight black bloke who was a touch miserable
A fast talking chav who has a poledancing club loyalty card
and a slightly off chap, maybe with OCD.

Unfortunately couldn't get any of the 4 over the line in the transfer window. None were available as loans with no commitment to buy !
