Gracia was cunning today, a week before the window.

    No Doucs = **** performance.

    Doucs = goal.

Gino, possessed of GCSE Maths/feral street smarts, will take the point.

Well Danny Murphy reckons he has been our best player this season ..

Maybe the Scouts will feel the same ?

Professor Murphy reckons his elbow is the best thing he’s sat on this year.

Lots of noise on twitter, supposed to have said he wants to join a CL team on French TV

Fair enough if he wants to go no point standing in a players way, its not ideal but we should get a sack full of cash and we have Chalobah, Cleverley, Hughes, and Quinna who can play CM

Don't mind him voicing his "dreams" on social media channels. However, I feel like he is taking advantage of it to force a move. Richy did the same. Unfortunately for Richy though, he got a very average Everton move instead of a dream job at Dortmund!

As far as I'm concerned this is not really news for us. We know that if an appropriate bid is made Gino and co will always consider it. All our players have their price, and there is way we would stand in Doucoure's way if a reasonable bid is made. The real question is what we consider reasonable? I would be devastated if we sold him for less than we received for Richarlison.

I think we all know he'll leave Watford. He didn't sign a new 5 year contract because he intends to be here until 2023. I doubt it'll be until the summer, though if the offer comes now we'll survive.

Hopefully that's the end of his wantaway comments on French telly for this January - once is what we've come to expect from players these days but if he carries on it'll start to look disrespectful.

It depends on how many times he's asked the question. Knowing how the press work, it will be in absolutely every press interview from now until he does eventually leave.

I reckon given we are safe as houses there is an argument we are better off selling to PSG now so we can work on adapting to life without him ahead of next season. I think we are going to miss him a lot and if we nosedive after he leaves if it happens now it will be obvious we need to reinvest in the summer.

Really don't care what he says in interviews about his ambitions, as long as he puts the effort in on the pitch. Seems like some people just love to get outraged by things. He's obviously wants to go and play at the highest level possible, particularly as he seems to think that Deschamps has intimated he'll only select players playing at top clubs for the national team.

We shouldn't forget either that we signed him and then loaned him straight out again without him knowing that was going to happen. He performed brilliantly at Granada and then we tried to loan him back to France having never played for us, then froze him out for half a season, only giving him a chance when there was an injury crisis. Doesn't owe us anything other than full effort as long as he's here.

I think there is about 3/4 Doucoure threads running at the moment, any chance they could be amalgamated please, thank you Mr. Mods :)

100%. He's not been as good this season as last, IMO, but I can't see any of that is down to not trying or to him having a bad attitude.

a definite 75% clap/25% boo player when he leaves.

Surprised that he’s not being accused of faking injury until the Chinese transfer window opens. That said, he’s got form, having pretended to get his appendix removed this summer.

All it needs is a first stamp class & he's gone.

When Bowie died, we all knew what he had created.

    With KL, I’ve no idea.

A line skirts? Whatever they might be.

Something of a Euro Ian Dury about him.

What do you think the chances are he’ll be playing for us next season? Maybe if we are in Europa League he’ll stay one more season? Possible that’ll also be when we get the bigger offers for him?

    No chance.

Wouldn't be surprised if he, Pereyra, Deulofeu and Capoue all leave in the summer.

As Duxbury said, if they don't, he isn't doing his job properly.

I think at least one "star" player could be sold. With Doucoure, I wouldn't necessarily say he'd go although I think he'll be a hot property in the summer. If United, PSG or some team of that ilk come in, then there's a fair chance we'll sell him, but I think we'd be looking at around £60m if selling to a club like that.

Pereyra will also go I think. I believe he's ready to go back to Italy.

Deulofeu is another obvious one who will be a target, but I think he could stay, as I do not see him as a regular starter for a top 6 or European club. The frustrations he had at Barca will still be there at another club. He will benefit from another season at Watford. He needs to be far more consistent and I believe he's improving, but is not there yet.

Anyone else is easily replaceable, but I don't think clubs would be vying for too many of our other players. Certainly not ones we couldn't compete with and look like the better option.

We lose those 3, we'd better replace them with some high quality or it will be a tough season.

It's likely we will sell someone, but the only player we will probably have to sell is Pererya, because his contract is running low.

The other two would have to command excessive fees for us to consider it. No one is irreplaceable and I have confidence we will replace and improve or retain and improve next season, so there's no need to worry. We're in good hands.

I expect Pereyra and Doucoure to leave this Summer, with a replacement for Doucoure to be bought and one of Success, Penaranda, Sema, Lukebakio or Cleverley to take that spot. I suspect Cleverley will go there.

If the plan to replace Bobby is Cleverley, we're bang in trouble. I love Tom as much as the next guy, but trying to replace the majesty of Pereyra with a workmanlike ankle-biter like ol' Tommy is a recipe for disaster.

Replacing Pereyra with Sema would shave 9 points off next season's points total.

I can see Doucs leaving. He would improve Arse, Spuds, and Manure.

Delia and Pereyra are too inconsistent I don't see anyone paying what our valuation will be. Plus it's not CL but Europa league will be a reason to stay.

French papers say he is off.

    Everton /PSG?

His market value must have deceased this season.

Ah but I've been assured that Gino never sells anyone on the cheap so £30m+ incoming, absolutely no doubt.
