A Hornet Yellow Abarth 595 Competitzione. Far too dinky for H. BMWs,Audis and the obligatory 4WDs in the land of plenty.
Assuming it’s a pseudonym rather than a birth name, it is an unusual one. It suggests a fastidious nature. After the tsunami of passion, let’s make sure everything is nice & clean.
Palace fans saying we are rough and physical trying to hack them down at all times etc - well clearly not seen some of our attempts at trying to defend in recent times! If only we had a bit more muscle against Burnley and Bournemouth for example!
Outstanding! Sometimes it’s just too tempting. The front door was getting in need of tlc a year or two ago. Two mins at the Homebase paint scanner & we had a tin of Sannino season shirt yellow. Might be a tad bright for the neighbours when it catches the morning sun.
Cracking atmosphere from the off. Very entertaining for a 0-0 draw. We all know Palace should never have been in trouble with that squad. Roy’s done a good job to turn them round. Cathcart and Kabasele fill me with much more confidence at the back than other pairings we have had in recent weeks. I voted Doucoure, but Mariappa was a close second for me for POTS. His versatility and endeavour in this team is incredible for some who should have been a bit part player. He makes mistakes but we get full value from him. I’m beginning to think Didier Ndong might become a Watford quiz question in future years.
So Zaha has unwittingly admitted he's dived......the truth always comes out in unguarded moments. "I've seen so many other players dive but nobody makes a commotion the same way they do with me, trying to get me banned." http://www.skysports.com/football/n...al-palace?utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral He goes on to say some very unflattering things about Watford. This is why I couldn't understand why Mapps and Kabasele were being so nice about him afterwards. "It's annoying, especially yesterday. Everybody knows how Watford play, they are a team that fouls quite a bit and I'm a player who does tricks, so they are going to end up kicking me. The amount of times I got kicked in the game, it literally looked like I was on the floor most of the time. People are going to think, 'Yeah, he's diving', but you know how Watford play." Well, I didn't see any of the Watford players kicking the keeper in the stomach. Palace got more yellow cards in the game as well, and gave away more free kicks. The guy's a complete pr1ck.
It seems to me that he's saying when other players dive, no one says too much, but when he dives everyone is up in arms. The thing is, why is he so sensitive about it? He's been going on about it all week. I remember when Harry mimicked his dive, he got very upset about that too. If it's totally untrue, then it wouldn't bother him? It's because he knows he's been rumbled and he doesn't like it, as it's such a large part of his game.
Why didn't you go for half-and-half, Hornet yellow and Hoddesden Tennis Club whatever? Where's your loyalty?
I don't know how he claims to have been kicked so much, I don't even remember him touching the ball in the first half.
Because they're too bust match fixing? https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/43894806 Can we assume that Harpenden would be 'lower level'?
Depends how you read it tbf as well as the context of what he said. Either way he is a diving ***** and everyone knows it. It's embarrassing that he acts so innocent when questioned about it.
He is an utter *****. We do however seem to fowl quite a lot, although sure a lot of it is lack of skill rather than intentional
When I first read it , took it the same way, when I dive I get grief, nobody else does when they dive , however fairly sure even a complete idiot wouldn’t come out and actually say that
Yes...I wouldn't call our team chickens, but we have plenty of ducks in front of goal because Okaka and Gray are turkeys.
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of him being a complete idiot. Footballers and words aren't always a great mix.
And now Palace, who started the season with a winless, goalless run which seemed to doom them, have bow overhauled us as we stutter towards the end of season. We really need to beat spurs
It just goes to show what drivel the ‘experts’ spout these days. Palace had the worst start of any team in the history of football in this country after 7 games and were written off as certain relegation no-hopers with 31 games (93 points) still to play. They will survive comfortably.
Some in the media will be gutted Hodgson has done better than the likes of Pardew and other media darlings.
Hodgson has kept himself very composed in all of his interviews which I have seen, I don't particularly like Palace but he is Manager of the season for me, I bet the palace fans can't believe what's happened their turn-round has been nothing short of a miracle!
I agree. Dinosaurs are still relevant even in this day and age. Jurassic World Evolution is coming out in June. However, he's done a brilliant job, but without Zaha, they'd have gone down. Everyone rightly hates the antics of Zaha, but he's single-handedly kept Palace in the Prem.
I take your point hb1 but I'm sure they have spent much more on their squad ( Ben Turkey,Milly Molly Mandy,Sakho Funny Hair, not to mention wages) than we have. I'm sure some bright spark can show their wage bill/transfer spend in comparison to ours?
