Apologies for coming to this a little late but if it's of any consolation to Jumbo, I happen to know from my extensive, nay myriad, Vic Rd 'sauces' that Gino speaks very highly of him.
Considering the kind of stuff you typically post it's impossible to fully discern that. My response to it should have been obviously enough tomfoolery though, so it being deleted was odd.
I’m very impressed IBB/IBP that over the years your posts have been slowly educating us all in the names and ways of the ancients in stories of classical mythology. About time someone associated with the club was involved in a long term project.
And taramasalata on the side? I hear it's a very-lame-ium system. Hypo costs a lot to run. I'll get my toga.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Pollock and Porteous playing together hitting everything long to Bayo and Dennis
I get the feeling it could be captain calamity in goal again with Hoedt suspended. Unless he makes Livermore captain and reinstates Hamer.
Just coached a lad whose dad was signed at Cheshunt by Omar Gawd, who James rates. He says all the other assistants, bar JG,have almost zero experience at this level. The chap from the youth team is part time. A few obols saved by Pozzo as suspected. May the gods protect us.
Chak being back is a plus, but it'll be a miracle if we keep a clean sheet with that GK and defence - however poor Brum are they'll prob find a way to give them a goal.
I cannot believe Clev is starting Bachmann. He's been at fault for at least two of our goals conceded lately and is still a liability with his "goal rushing". Hamer had one poor game at Millwall and now is left out in the cold. All I can fathom is it's the 'knowing you knowing me' connection. Pollock has been alright when he's played but we are going to miss Hoedt. Personally I would of started Bayo with Dennis or Bayo solo.
Just to put the "is Clev a suited and booted, causal smart dresser for a matchday, here's the answer.
Lewis is a massive liability so don't mind him being dropped. We will need to score at least 2 to have a chance of winning today
