I'm reliably informed that they will be taking the last train to Trancentral.

Their one and only policy would be to allow all Doctors to Chill Out in their own Tardis.

Some rumours that cabinet ministers met to decide whether to replace Fishy Rishi. Apparently, they were willing to do this if they could agree on a single candidate.

    They could not.

Not sure, if true, whether this makes a snap election more likely. As I’ve said before, if Sunak doesn’t call one soon, he may not get to fight one.

    Isn't it?

The Tories biggest weapon is getting people to think 'they're all the same' when all the evidence of the last few years has been they are absolutely not.

LONDON (AP) — A plane carrying British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps had its satellite signal jammed as it flew near Russian territory, the government said Thursday.

I suspect what really happened is that Shapps insisted on being allowed to sit in the cockpit and, in his excitement, pressed a few buttons and managed to temporarily f*** up the plane's GPS. The bloke is such a tw at

That plane could have crashed in a huge fireball, leaving a meteor sized crater in the ground and Shapps would still have clambered out of the wreckage into a new ministerial brief.

The media salivating over the reduction in inflation to 3.4%. Too late to celebrate a 'goal' now, guys and gals. Prices rose steeply over 18 months. Companies are still playing catch-up – still putting up prices. This week alone mobile phone and TV/broadband supplier signalled incoming price rises. Food prices are way, way higher than they were 18 months ago. Council Tax is up to an eye-watering degree. Mortgage interest rates have risen. These prices ain't coming down. The money has been chiselled out. It's funnelling from the many to few with less friction.

But the grift will continue. Six months or so telling everyone they've got more 'money in their pockets' and it'll work on a lot of people who ignore the evidence on their bank statements.

Quite a masterful con job, really.

We didn't just join, we very much lead from the front on its creation. British lawyers wrote big chunks of the Convention and we were the first country to ratify it.

Leadsom burbling away about how the cost of living crisis has ended and everyone ought to be jolly well cheered up by the fact that inflation has dropped a couple of points.

She must think people are stupid.

Months and months and months of rising prices. So *those* prices are now rising by 3.4% instead of by 5, 6 or 7%. So already high prices continue to rise.

She's either too stupid to understand how numbers work. Or, more likely, she thinks the public are so economically and numerically illiterate that people will just nod along and ignore the evidence of their own experience.

I think the list is up to 62 or 63 now. By the time we get to an election that will be in three figures I’m sure.

Some will be retiring for sure, but many just assume they will lose and don’t want that moment on TV when the count reveals Lord Buckethead got more votes.

What did Sunak learn from making 30p Lee Anderthal Deputy Chair of the Conservative Party? Nothing it seems as he has now appointed Angry of Stoke, Rentagob, Jonathan Gullis.

This has led Twitter users to recycle a story posted by a former pupil at the school Gullis briefly taught at. Gullis apparently got very angry when a Year 8 student thought it would be a wheeze to photoshop Sir’s head onto a seagull to create Jonathan Seagullis. Twitter now awash with its own takes.
