Turkey is an appropriate destination for both these players. But it really shows the ineptitude of our recruitment team once more. Summer signing Healey already gone, and now Ince and Rajovic having question marks against them. Rajovic being the one the club made a big fanfare over, giving the number 9 shirt and personally signed off by Val, and chosen above a player like Dennis.
Hopefully a wake up call for the “£50k for Ince is a no brainer” types. You still end up lumbered with a 30+ year old on high wages who the manager doesn’t want to play

I think the majority of players we signed in the summer were endorsed by Val. I’ve seen no evidence whatsoever that he can spot a player, so I certainly would prefer to use Val in describing what kind of player he wants, and let the “experts” pick the player he needs. Trouble is our experts have been amateur and incompetent. Hopefully now Nani is on board things might change and we bring in quality players, but I’m not holding my breath on that.
