    Thank goodness the appalling slew if vacuous perfume adverts are over.

    Gormless people shouting into the sky or shoving their heads aggressively into the camera. All to try and persuade the gullible that these are not overpriced bottles of tat.

    I get why perfume adverts are so vacuous given its tough to say “buy this perfume, it smells great” but surely car ads could actually quote a few specs, functions and details rather than just make out that all cars are driven by young happy cool smiley twenty five year olds on the way to some great social event ?
