So word is that Everton are coming back for more and Gino doesn’t trust Silva anymore cos the boy wonder is wowed by the cash and the cut of this Everton owner’s gib....and then Oscar Garcia gets a phone-call from Gino saying ‘now that you’re well again I have a proposition’...and then Oscar swiftly says au revoir to his employers in France... ... I mean if... ...how would you feel about that?
Not overly enthused, but I'd first focus on bigger issues in trying to find my feet in this new, alternate dimension I find myself in, and how I will eventually be able to 'slide' my way home.
Wouldn't appointing Garcia be more 'trying to put right what once went wrong and each time hoping that the next leap, will be leap home'?
At least it would reduce the number of different managers we've had when the media try to beat us over the head
http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actu...en-va-remplace-par-le-duo-sable-ravera/850844 The Etienne leaders on Tuesday marked the departure of the Spanish coach Oscar Garcia. The tandem Ravera-Sablé will replace him on the bench Friday night in Lille. It's a real thunderbolt that fell on the Forez, Tuesday night. Nine days after conceding a historic defeat on his turf in the derby against Lyon (0-5, Nov. 5), the Greens saw their Spanish coach Oscar Garcia (44) slam the door. After trying, in vain, to retain the successor of Christophe Galtier, Etienne's leaders had to resolve to agree to let him go. This amicable divorce should be formalized in the day of Wednesday. AS Saint-Etienne should make a second announcement: that of the appointment of the duo Ravera-Sablé in interim. Shortbread favorite in Batlles Arrived in July as fourth assistant, Alain Ravera (52) has the advantage of being the only one to have the DEPF, the coaching diploma, at the club. As for Julien Sablé (37), former captain of the Greens appointed director of the training center on June 2, he is a close to Romeyer. More than Laurent Batlles (42), coach of the reserve team since the summer of 2016. It is this connivance that allowed Sablé to be preferred to Batlles to celebrate his great debut in L1 on the bench of the Greens Friday evening, in Lille. All the details are to be found in our edition of this Wednesday, November 15th. He's already quit haha
It's a shame Billy has just taken a new job. I'd imagine he's always wanted to manage St Etienne one day.
Some sad news, our ex head coach Oscar Garcia is back in hospital... after being struck in the face by a toilet roll thrown from the crowd at an Olympiakos game. Being kept in overnight for observation with a quite horrific sounding "internal bleeding of the lip" - https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/olympiakos-match-postponed-after-manager-12088700. The photos below show how deadly this bog roll assault nearly was, if you're of a sensitive disposition or under 18, I suggest you don't scroll any further, it was like something out of a war zone:
It wasn't toilet roll, it sounds like it was a roll of till receipt paper. Which to be fair would bloody hurt!
You’re probably right, nobody puts anything through the tills in Greece so they’ll have loads layin around.
I think you're all missing the real questions. 1. How did they get a roll of till paper through the turnstyle searches. 2. Where did the perpetrator hide said roll of till paper. 3. Was it premeditated or did they have a roll of till paper on themselves for another reason. I shall conduct experiments on 1 and 2 on Saturday.
If he was hit with some of the rough stuff that schools used to use when I was a kid, it would seriously injure, it was like rubbing your back side with sandpaper! I know the Greeks can't put bog roll down the toilet so is this what they do with it?
Our former manager Oscar Garcia lost his daughter aged just twenty two to cancer yesterday. Sincere condolences.
OMG.... Best thoughts and wishes of love and support to Oscar, his family and close friends. Terrible news. RIP xxx.
