https://perthglory.com.au/news/young-defender-signs-for-watford 18 year old CB from Perth Glory. One year contract, dual citizenship so no WP issues, no transfer fee from the looks of it so looks to be pretty low risk. Not much to go on stats wise as he only played in 5 games but here they are anyway
The next Adam Griffiths? An Aussie defender signed when Boothroyd was here but don’t think he ever played. Know much about him @sydney_horn ?
Sadly I cant find a player called Anime. The best we have is this lot https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/schnellsuche/ergebnis/schnellsuche?query=anime
According to Transfrmkt he was born in Lootown. Maybe that's why sydney_horn has never heard of him, he was born in some tin-pot northern town in Bedfordshire.
Short term fodder for the u23s or whatever they are these days. Seems like we didn't scout him, he came over to England to tried his luck to see if he could get a contract with a few teams and we're the ones that think he's worth a year. Having said that, think that's the path that Richard Johnson took too so you never know! Who remembers our other two Australian academy hotshots from recent years? Panos Armenakas - currently in the 2nd tier of Danish football Xane Zainedinne - despite the reports that he was being watched by Real Madrid seems to have never played a game of professional football
By a strange quirk of fate, is now required to get his father’s gun and shoot his father. Very Oedipal.
Oh that A Coyne.! Yeah I know him by his nickname...Tuppence. Of course I know everyone in Oz. It's like a village and Tuppence is the scummy village idiot.
I’ve heard that he can flip quite easily and don’t expect that to change. On the plus side he heads a lot and can turn on a sixpence. Bases his game on Darren Purse.
