Genuinely didn't know we had one. I saw Giraldi turned up at Forest as Sporting Director this week - that surprised me.
I think it's pretty clear that Gino Pozzo is the performance director. This is probably just making way for Giaretta and Bayat to have a more hands-on role with the team.
Doubt it. The way he said it seemed to me implied it whatever the change was would clear the way for him to accept the HLP awarded to him.
He could probably be given a player/performance director role. He's younger than Kalu, could still do a job.
Have people actually bothered reading the article before commenting?! "Although the exact day-to-day nature of his role at Watford is unclear, it’s understood that physical conditioning was a key part of his remit." Hard to tell if this is true or not, or whether it's partly scapegoating, but if it is then it's no surprise he's been kicked out. It's clearly a massive problem at the club and one which they might be trying to address. It's probably something which could take a while to turn around though, even with a change in personnel.
If it results in having a squad not made of bread sticks who can get stuck into a tackle than it's a yes from me.
