If you didn't watch the game and saw a final score of 0-0, you meant you would have expected it was a game we dominated United at Old trafford for all ninety minutes because we have the better squad?
If we can maintain this kind of horrendous performance in all our remaining away matches and take points from all, and then find a way to win about 4 or 5 of our remaining home games, I will have Roy tattooed on my forehead.

We get an excellent point away at Man Utd but because they had some chances to score it means we were sh1t?! Of course they are going to have chances when they have the talent available to them. We limited them to 3 shots on target and defensively I thought we were very good. I did feel on some occasions we were too negative when we had the chance to attack them.
Unfortunately the horrible home performances are going to be our downfall.

Was better than Sarr today, helped defensively to win some balls.

He really wasn't, he was useless and a bit of a liability to be honest I was actually pleased to see King Ken replace him which is saying something.

Did you think we were excellent defensively vs Norwich?

Fair play to Hodgson 3 clean sheets in six games with a side that hadn't kept a clean sheen in the league all season, only 2 more points and he will have already accumulated the same number of points as Ranieri.

Villa had 23 shots last week only one on target. United had 22 shots and only 3 on target yesterday which was only one more shot at goal than ourselves. We didn't have the likes of Ronaldo, Bruno Fernando's, Sancho, Rashford or Pogba though.

Yes exactly my point. Neither Munoz nor Ranieri were good at getting a draw in a match we couldn’t win. Both managed it against Newcastle and hardly ever again.

The point of my earlier post was really to say that draws have become so rare for us in the past year, until RH appeared, that it’s often hard for us to know how to react to them.

Was Burnley a good point gained or two points lost, for example? Normally a point at Old Trafford isn’t to be sniffed at, but reaction to it has been mixed. I think we’re been out of the drawing matches habit since Ivic left. It’s either been feast or famine.

I think that is a little harsh, he is currently playing in the Premier League, doesn’t look completely out of place, I would think he will have a decent career but not in the Premier League!

Yes I agree our failure to draw games is a big issue. Burnley have won only 3 games but drawn 12 and they look as likely to get out it as any of us. I think I’m hindsight the draw against Burnley was a good one, considering their results since, that it was away and also the conditions.

Am not a big fan of King, but I already pointed out something he did to help the team yesterday, if you disagree, it's your opinion. But I will like you to point out how Sarr helped the team yesterday because he I didn't see anything from him. He and Sema were the worst players because even Kuco won the ball when he came on. The worst of Sarr yesterday was that moment he was given the ball in a promising position and i was expecting him to run into the box with ball just like Dennis would have done but immediately he received the ball, he stopped it and wait for all of united defenders who had overlap to come back and regroup before passing the ball to Ngakia, and that's something I have seen from him a lot of times this season. Sarr has pace and skill, but he doesn't like using it often, he prefers giving the responsibility of attacking the opposition to Ngakia, Femenia or whoever plays at RB.

Poor, doesn’t care enough IMO. Does that weird thing where he holds the ball up but doesn’t lay it off to the easy option just waits to get tackled, very odd.

King was the worst player on the pitch by a country mile. I thought Sarr tracked back although he isn't in the team for defending and carried the ball okay at times and occasionally showed little bits of quality with his first touch and he had a good run and shot at the end. Sarr wasn't really in the game but King was far worse than any player on the pitch in red or yellow.

Yep agreed. Any point away at Man Utd is excellent. Unfortunately it will be academic if we continually get turned over at home so easily. A point at home to Arsenal would give us a bit of momentum and something to build on. Somehow we remain in touch despite our home woes.

Brentford, Leeds and Everton at home could still be the pivotal three games that ultimately decide our fate.

I was liking what you said until you mentioned our horrible home performances, but that is going to change as our winning streak at The Vic starts in March and will continue to the end of the season...

I have a memory of the United equaliser in 69 but as time has passed I start to think my young mind made it up! I believe Charlton got the ball near the halfway line, loosing his boot at the same time but hit a pass to the inside left position on the edge of the 18 yard line. Meanwhile the ref picked up Bobby's boot and handed it to him, therefore not seeing the foul on the edge of our box that allowed Law to score!
It's complete bol$%&ks isn't it? Well that's how I've always remembered it. One of my first live matches .

The amount of shots on target means nothing. The vast majority of shots were from inside our box which means it was poor finishing rather than good defending. We let an opposition team have about 15 shots on our goal from inside our own box, in what world is that good defending??

I'm usually an optimist but I really can't see us staying up.

Will take a total collapse elsewhere to give us a sniff of survival.

Having watched MOTD and not being present at Old Trafford I do concede that we were fortunate.
However , we were unfortunate against Spam , so 1 point in those 2 matches is a fair return , IMO .
