There seems to be a lot of opinions that we can do away with a lot of players this summer. (Not saying any are right or wrong) But it does feel like like some think we might get by with about 16 players this season. And we won’t.
I've little doubt that he'll become a very good player, but I simply don't see how he fits in here at the moment. Gonna be one of those ones we look at with regret 5 years from now (hopefully not too much, with us doing fine on the pitch rather than toiling away somewhere in the EFL!)
Regardless of whether Quina is useful to us or not (reckon he could be a useful depth option, albeit at this stage in his career he needs more), we're not lacking for midfielders at the moment, regardless of what we do with Hughes and Chalobah
Good question. His birth date is 18/11/99 which means he is currently 21, however if I understand the rules correctly if he is still 21 on 31/12/21 he is still eligible, am I right?
Since he was born in 1999 and will therefore be 22 at the turn of the year, if the rules are as they were last year (haven't seen anything on them changing), he will no longer be considered an U21 player
Well I would keep him for the under 21 rule place - unless we get a great offer >£2 million. I sign that he has no part to play this year will be if he is not in the squad for tonight’s match against Palace
Quina was born 18th November 1999, so unfortunately doesn't qualify as U21 for this season. The cut-off is anyone born on 1st January 2000 or after. He misses out by around 6 weeks.
Presumably this means that if you were born in Hawai'i you could be an over-age under-age player. I dread to think of the legal costs if you were born in eastern Kiribati, which is to the east of the international date line but is deemed to be in the next day by the Kiribati government, so that the whole country is in the same day.

I always liked him. Decision making was pretty poor but he’s only ever played about 20 senior matches. Given a full season as a regular I reckon he’ll come good and someone (I guess it’ll be Bournemouth? ) will have gotten a great deal.
A shame but successive managers both here and at WHU have not picked him. There must be a reason for it. Good luck to him anyway.
Can fully understand why successive managers haven't picked him here, but my God why didn't we loan him out in the relegation season? At the very least, a good loan then would have toughened him up and made him more ready for the Championship the next season
Seemed the sort of player who'd need someone around him to cover when his inventive attempts didn't come off so he could develop without costing the team too dear. Ironically, we seem to be building just such a midfield unit this season, but have chosen to give Louza the error-prone potential genius role.
