Lawal, Lo Everton and Forde have impressed. They have technique, visions and can pick a pass. Overall disappointing, sitting deep and little movement off the ball. Far too rushed with the ball at feet. Need to take a breath and look up or just learn to shield the ball before a pass and simply keep the ball rather than gifting it away. I don't want to pick on players but Manning and Andrews need to control the ball better. Marriot has hardly anything to do aside from the two goals which were excellent it has to be said. He has been prolific for the Imps and with technique and speed like that he should be on track for their first team. Some of our players need to learn to use their brains when on the pitch. Far too instinctive and rushed. Work the ball.
Think the Lincoln keeper has played well. Helpess for both goals with some sharp saves and a very quick thinking long range kick to nearly catch us out. Manning has looked poor. Also, what a save Marriot!
Kukur looks promising, not afraid to muck in, in defence and happy to press forward. Raw but looks one of our better prospects. Also, seems like 1/4 of the players down with cramp currently.
Out of this lot. Lawal is the best. Lo Everton needs to look for the ball more and improve his strength and conditioning. Cukur can finish and has pace decent with the ball. Needs to work on his hold up play and strength to shield the ball. The rest mmmmmmmhhhh. Marriot did well when called into action. Andrews and Manning have been very poor.
Their GK has been really good with cross claiming and distribution. I'd consider signing him for our U18's. Marriot and Cukur have looked good as well.
SBLE has had a growing influence,especially in extra time. We look the stronger side but still need to be wary of them on the break.
