Looks like Pussetto has knackered his ACL in yesterdays pasting by Juventus. https://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/udinese-pussetto-crociato-infortunio-news Udinese, Pussetto injury: involvement of the crusader Yesterday he went out in the 46th minute during the defeat against Juventus, a serious injury was feared and the tests confirmed it: for Udinese's Ignacio Pussetto there is an involvement of the cruciate ligament in his right knee. Already yesterday Gotti was very worried about the situation, now his conditions have been confirmed. Udinese, on its official website, reported the following note: "Udinese Calcio announces that, following the sprain trauma to his right knee suffered yesterday in the match against Juventus, Ignacio Pussetto was subjected to the usual instrumental checks which confirmed the involvement of the anterior cruciate ligament". "The player will be in Rome tomorrow to be evaluated by Professor Mariani at the Villa Stuart clinic" ends the statement. At Udinese, however, there is great pessimism, and it is feared that the crusader will break for Pussetto.
Isn’t he just on loan too? If it’s really bad, the the summer could be interesting as will they sign a player who could have another 6 months to rehab etc? Think a deal was nailed on before but could we perhaps have to take him back?
Yeah, on loan. Just more complications with regards to wages if he comes back early and any future fee with the delay of a permanent transfer.
Really doubt he’ll come back early even if there’s provision for it. Given the link between the clubs and parts of their finances, Udinese are better placed to pay his wages. And the player would be better rehabbing there where’s happy I’d imagine. Suits no one having him back here bother miserable and injured.
Pretty obvious he's never going to play for us again but we paid them a fee to get him over here but now they just get him on loan for two seasons?
