Wow. A goal against Andorra U21. Surely there can't be anyone left in any doubt that he's ready to lead our defence in our drive to return to the prem ?
Accepting that this may sound churlish, but what a pity he didn't score one of the chances against Barnsley (?).
Mind you the young lads were struggling a bit at the time at 1-1 at half time, thank you Aidy Boothroyd!
The Barnsley keeper didn't come flying out to get to a ball he didn't have a chance of getting to tbf
Scored a peach of a goal against the Pyrenean Brazil. https://twitter.com/btsportfootball/status/1327351005219090432
I think it was planned and well worked. Brewster looks back as the corner came in as if he expected Wilmot to run round him., then effectively blocked the defender trying to pull back Wilmots shirt. Good goal.

The question from the day we bought him was whether he would ever be good enough to be a regular in our side. Fortunately we have declined so severely since then that he now looks very comfortable in the starting 11.
Yes, one of the good things about being shyt is that slightly less shyt players look good. And there are quite a lot of slightly less shyt players around. When we were in the premier league we needed players like deulofeu which are a rare breed. Now we are back down where we belong, terds like wilmot stand out. It is strangely comforting.
Just need to drop another tier or two and Success and Penaranda will be able to show they weren't duds afterall.
Not really pertinent right now, but apparently the group stages of the Euro U21s is next month before they play the knockout phase in the summer. Odd one that!
Are we all in agreement that he's shyte yet, or do some people need to see some more errors before they are convinced? It's sad, I really wanted him to do well. File him under "dud".
They are 1 up now. Boothroyd getting a lot of stick on Twitter. Of course with us it was very much get the ball forward and attack rather than 3 at the back and passing the ball aimlessly. Must be an FA thing.
