My gut instinct is that Richarlison had a better season with us. Those first couple of months it felt like he was banging the goals in; important ones too. He faded by the middle of the year but he’d shown what he could do. The question mark was whether that was just an Ighalo style purple patch.

Sarr’s been good on a few occasions and always made us look more threatening but honestly, if it weren’t for his electric pace I think he’d be fairly average even in a side like ours.
I don’t think he demands the ball and tries to beat his full back enough for someone so capable of skinning his man one-on-one.

Sarr is quality and still has loads of room for improvement.

Pozzo's gambling on spending a large amount on him as an investment now looking like a great decision.

Time will tell, but I'd be far more upset if he leaves than when we sold Richarlison.

Me too. Pozzos have a problem with Liverpool that would make any deals very awkward.

They had a massive problem with Everton and still sold Richarlison to them.

Sarr will be playing at the Vic next season...

In the cup for.... er, Leeds?

I hope this guy stays, because he is more valuable playing for the team right now, and hopefully he will only improve as a player so his monetary value will also increase.

Therefore if he must leave at sometime, maybe that should be in a couple of years or so, but not now.

If Liverpool want Sarr then they should have to pay a big premium after VVD effectively caused our relegation.

Not just that - as I've already mentioned, if Liverpool are unwilling or unable to pay for Werner or Havertz this summer then no way are they suddenly going to splash the cash on Sarr.

Hahaha Sarr to Palace hahahahaha. That’s comedy gold.

They will be getting relegated next season, anyone with half a brain wouldn’t go near that tin pot small irrelevant club.

Once Zaha goes, that’s them done.

They are literally my firm favourites to go down next season.

No chance Sarr goes there. More chance of us keeping Estupinan, Suarez and Sarr than Sarr joining Palace.

Lucky the promoted teams won't have much time to prepare for the new season, but yeah, I'd be surprised if Palace aren't in a proper scrap next season

Their form at the end of this season is relegation form. Exactly how we ended the previous season before sleep walking into relegation this season. With the quick turn around as well, Zaha wanting out, Palace will be relegated.

The bastards didn't have a cup final to keep them deluded, they'll know they're in trouble, buy a few players and scrape survival by the skin of their teeth I reckon

Maybe. They had the oldest squad I believe or second oldest and we were first. Either way, an aging team, strikers that can’t score, they had so many 1-0’s, 1-1’s and 0-0’s this season. They literally scored 5 less/fewer goals than us this season and only 5 more than Norwich.

When they lose Zaha to some Chinese team. That’s them done. Even Zaha was poor this season. So even if he stays, can’t see his form improving.

They are definitely one of my favourites for the drop right now. Their not even an attractive club to play for. Can’t see them surviving the new season.

    Even one talks about Gray.

Basically anyone but the "thugs" Dawson , Deeney and Capoue.

Our players are going to be linked with everyone, some of it will be speculation, some of it will be clickbait, some of it will be agents stirring up the market.

But I've almost never heard of a club announcing to the press who they want to buy before they bid.

That's why I mentioned it. They also mentioned Cleverly. I wonder if the Palarse board are as stupid as their fans?

Lol at the OP describing Hughes as "creative".

They must be seriously deprived of talent in midfield if they'd consider Hughes with his 1 goal and 1 assist last season "creative".

There's one poster there at least who seems to know their stuff and have a bit more of an idea:

"Sarr cost them 30mil and was on Barc* radar a few years ago, he’ll be at Udinese unless they get the fee they want. So I think we could rule him out on price. Decouré I think will end up at Arsenal and will be 20+mil region so he’s out, so Deulofeu or Gray."

Actually, they also mention Gray, so they're still a bit clueless.

He'll certainly be worth more than Wilf now. I can't really see Palace spending more than they received for Wilf on a new winger.

I think you can only play in midfield for Palarse if your surname begins with 'M' and preferably 'Mc'/ 'Mac'. McArthur, MacArthur's Park,Millie Molly EIAdio,Meyer ... continued page 94.

They were linked with John Laurie the other week. He's out of contract I think, hence not playing for the Sainted Eddie since the resumption.

If we just stuck an 'M' in front of Cleverley's name they'll bite our hand off for him.

They did only score 12 goals all season at home and they had a guy out on loan who scored 20 odds goals.

    Sounds familiar ..

According to the Daily Star (ha) Palace actually want Welbeck to be their Sarr replacement. I doubt it's true, but it would be amusing, they'll be relegated for sure.

You mean Sorloth? I don't think that really counts, the Turkish league is poor. He was useless in the Prem.
