To be honest, I don't think a lot of fans at championship level know much about us, however, I saw Coventry City fans saying that they think we should win the league easily. I don't think we are that much of a small club at Championship level anymore either we have good resources and will likely have better attendance than most clubs.

From the Coventry forum on the discussion of which clubs coming down will struggle a lot seem to think Bournemouth will: ''To be fair they are going to pick up to 40 million for Nathan Ake who is being linked to Manchester City, I would say a possible 20 million each for Callum Wilson and Joshua King, probably 15-20 million for Jefferson Lerma. If they keep David Brookes they will do very well he looks like a terrific young player, they will probably keep Solanke and Junior Stanislas who should be good at Championship level as well. Looking at that though that is around 100 million that they will likely make from selling just a few players. Same with Watford with the likes of Doucoure, Pereyra, Estupinan, Delufeou, and Ismaila Sarr they possibly won't even sell the latter two players Delufeou is injured until after the transfer window and I could see him staying at Watford until January, their owners have come out and said that they are not selling Ismaila Sarr as well. If they have got Gerard Delufeou and Ismaila Sarr playing in the championship next year with what will probably be Danny Welbeck upfront they will rip teams apart. Then, of course, as you say they have the parachute money. They are going to be miles ahead of us and probably the rest of the league considering the current circumstances, just my opinion though. We need to be worrying about the likes of Luton, Wycombe, Barnsley, and Rotherham possibly even Birmingham, if a genie came and offered me 4th from the bottom now I would take it if I am honest with you''.

Gray had a kick about in his garden and Chalobah went to visit, I’m really not that offended by that at all.

Gray probably is a bit of a **** but he’s scored goals at that level.

Chalobah is mentally destroyed, easier opposition and five 90 mins in a row might bring him back. Certainly can’t deny the talents there.

I think he looked good when Pearson first came in, NP put faith in him. I think Hughes may have been injured?

There’s obviously a big mental block with the guy, hence failed loan moves before. I think he just needs some love.

Filbert the Fox, he's one of our own! ;)
Sorry for your lot, thought you were
Average attendance this season in the Championship was 18,585, obviously that will come down a bit with the teams going up and coming down, but our attendances will fall as well, so we'll probably be mid-table in the attendances stakes

Pre-lockdown I would have had him ahead of Hughes, I thought he played well in the games he has played this season. Does he have the fight for the Championship though? I doubt many clubs will be interested in him after really only impressing in flashes, if he is willing to muck in next season, we could have a very good Championship player on our hands

I think it depends how we are doing in the table, although we may not be allowed to go anyway.

Attendances will be a moot point next season. I doubt that away fans will be allowed at all for the entire season. As for home fans I believe that none will be allowed until October so that rules out the first 2-3 games, thereafter I imagine that it will start with 25% capacity slowly increasing as each month passes.

Ake will go for £60-£80m supposedly with Citeh and others queuing up to compete for his signature. That will allow a fair bit of strengthening.

I for one am looking forward to what will be a chance to regroup as a team and a chance to win more often than we lose.

There's plenty that'll move on. Plenty that'll stay, god knows what any of them individually will want to do or end up doing. It could all go wrong if we dont have players who are committed to the cause but it could all be wonderful if we get it right.

The thought of GD, Wellbeck and Sarr up front in that league is funny but at least 1 of those, potentially all 3 will go.

Maybe we will have Sarr and others stay until Jan, and if we're doing very well perhaps they'll stay.

If we're 13th on Jan 1st we'll lose half the team on the cheap and will need to properly rebuild.

What should happen is that all season tickets are kept on a retainer. No season ticket sales. Pay on the day only with some percentage set aside prioritising season ticket holders.

Hopefully we sign up to iFollow since nobody is likely to see more than 25% of home games.

Then reinstate season tickets if and when we can.

There is absolutely no way in a million years they get £60m-£80m for Ake. Not now they’ve been relegated and everyone knows they’re in trouble financially. VVD went to Liverpool for £80m and Ake isn’t fit enough to lace his boots! Would be lucky to get £30m for him.

But they’re going to have the same problem I was talking about. A player who wants to leave and a club who has to sell...its going to drive the price down.

I believe we have more saleable assets - guess that’s up for debate though

Yeah, £30m for Ake seems appropriate. Who else do Bournemouth have that would go for big money? Wilson? King? Both seem like £15m players at best in this scenario Brooks is class but might still have something to prove after a long injury

I’ve gotten very used to the PL squad rules (25 men, maximum 17 overseas, if fewer than 8 HG then gaps must be left, U21s don’t take space).

Championship rules are different though aren’t they? What requirements do we need to satisfy?

As a minimum, every squad must have two orcs, one Joey Barton, 6 absolute thugs, one fallen Premier League star and a young kid with a kit three sizes too big for him.

Don’t know but I’ll have you a small wager that one of the meet ups between us and Luton “coincidentally” falls early in the season, before fans are allowed back.

The FA stopped local derbys on boxing day quite a few years ago on police advice. No chance of that game being that day. Local plod will make sure it's a 12pm Ko on a Sunday

Just been on the EFL website.

    Gloriously basic.

We're going to have to get used to being the glamorous ones in this little pond.
