Still no. Arsenal could roll over next week. I'm not optimistic but my god the constant stupid posts are driving me mad.
Got everything we've absolutely fecking deserved. Bunch of cojoneless weak cowards. I'm done this season. I hate football.
Oh man, that was painful, I don't really care either way if we go down or stay up, but just the long, drawn-out process is awful. It's almost a sweet release that the game's over, but of course we still have the weekend to come...
Hahaha. The ****** is blaming the people who were right, not Pozzo/Giraldi. Sums up the tools in the fanbase.
Fair play to Villa. For all their limitations, they have a manager and a captain who are lifelong fans of the club who've convinced the players to fight for survival. We've had four different coaches in one season. Couldn't be more different.
We have to beat arsenal by 2 goals more than villa beat WHU (which they will). We won't beat arsenal.
The happy clapper 'i'll still be here in the conference' brigade are already starting their vomit inducing nonsense: https://twitter.com/RookeryMike/status/1285678474292875265?s=20
The only consolation is that we absolutely deserve it. And so do the sizeable amount of our fans still desperately defending the cult of Pozzo to the last.
Is nobody else looking forward to the seismic amount of transfers in the 4 weeks between seasons and having to update your home made database of players? No? Just me then.
The unbearable thing is that next season will be worse. The players who have taken us down will be entrenched. There will be no fresh air sweeping through the club. Sure some of them will find their level a league below, but Deeney will be older, slower, probably fatter and still immovable as an automatic choice. Our defence will be serviceable at the lower level, but again, all our old defenders will be another year towards their dotage. The club will not be financially well off, if I understand the numbers, so we wont be buying our way back up. The Pozzos have shat the bed royally and I hope it hurts them enough to force them to cut their losses and feck off.
As much as I dislike Grealish and as much good fortune as they have enjoyed you're 100% correct. They have seemed far more energetic and committed and probably most important of all,not afraid to take risks. Too many of our team have hidden and left it to others. Huge lack of bravery from most of our team. We have to carry the pain. I feel sorry for all of you and every WFC fan. Losing stinks and relegation stinks to hell. Mismanagement from top to bottom and we bare the brunt of it. B*****.
Been taking my 12 year old nephew to Watford for 5 years. His first relegation. Let's hope he doesn't have to get used to it.
Watford are the poor mans Arsenal. Both squads lack the mentality to be any good. Both squads full of players who don’t care enough. They will beat us and then go on and lose the FA Cup. There performance in the Europa League final last year was as insipid as ours in the FA Cup. Honestly there is something in the water at London Colney
