Agreed, however A) and C) are very unlikely and B) is fairly unlikely. Therefore we must only be happy with a win.
Reminder that prior to returning to football after lockdown, Kabasele said something on the lines of ‘We have to treat every one of the remaining matches as if they’re a final’ Good to see that had we got either Burnley or Southampton in the final last season in the FA Cup final instead of City, we’d have lost as equally as embarrassingly
Yes, for a club that's been to two finals in its 140 year history, lost them both and set a record in one, its probably not the best approach.
I think we could well pick up a point or two from our last three games, but if we can beat the Geordies I'm not sure we would need to.
Why write off beating West Ham? If they were that much better than us, they wouldn't be just above us on goal difference despite having had two experienced Premier League managers all season. And like with Newcastle, we've got a good record against them, beating them at least once every Prem season except 1999/00, with two home wins, four away wins and a couple of home draws.
Yeah, I don't have any particular confidence in us being able to win any game, but I don't really see why we'd be more likely to be capable of beating Newcastle, a team having a far better season and with more currently effective players, than West Ham, a team on exactly the same points as us having as bad a season. Except for our odd and pathetic West Ham hoodoo, that is; though it's often been heavily referee-influenced, in fairness.
Don’t ask me why but I think we win this one. Team should be up for it, we have an extra days rest. Newcastle even with St Maximin are fallible at the back. COYHs let’s make the most of this opportunity.
haha quite possibly, but I also felt the same way before Norwich. Thought we would lose the rest lol.
His reasoning is that yous are too deluded and big-headed (which is true for a few of yous, we still remember when that journo of yours put "Pygmies in the Land of the Giants" as the Chronicle headline before our match with you in our first season back). That said, there's a fair few Geordies that I work with (live other side of A69county) who are sound, just eternally miserable and not that deluded. Boro is also Yorkshire, not County Durham which is where I see the NE starting
I am looking forward to an inordinate amount of huff and puff from us tomorrow, but with as much class as a scouse bird on holiday in Benidorm.
Is this match only available on Amazon Prime TV? If so how do I get to watch it? I have mentioned this on here before, I am basically a computer numpty and even though I believe it is free to air on Amazon I don't know how to access the game, so can anyone help me please?
I think you just need the app and an Amazon account. The app you can get on any phone or tablet and most modern TV's and games consoles.
Go on the amazon uk website, and click on the prime video option that is just under the search box. Instructions come up for the game I think.
Yes. And whatever you do don't pay to subscribe. If you have a smart tv you may have the Amazon Prime TV app on it and so can watch on the box instead.
The amount of online shopping at the mo, tbh the Prime subscription is pretty good value. A lot of their content is pretty good, too.
A win tomorrow could come to if we come out to Z Cars or not. Against Norwich we did. For the other games we didn't. Lets hope we do.
