I considered doing the same. Decided that the sooner I face the reality of relegation, the better. No point in prolonged suffering!
There’s nothing about that back 4 that is good on paper, slate, tarmac or anywhere else you want to write it.
Troy again. He has two ways of scoring goals. Ball lands directly in front of him in some kind of goalmouth scramble with no defender close enough to prevent the shot and penalties. So it’s over to Welbeck out wide and our saviour Sarr (who all teams now know to try and starve of the ball)
Pearson pre-match just throwing out the usual football clichés. Little grin he couldn't stop on his face, get the feeling he doesn't believe what he's saying.
Terrible lineup as expected. Now hoping one of those terrible players proves me wrong... It really is a real life groundhog day
Perry groves saying we’re warming up looking up for it as the Norwich players look like their getting ready for a charity game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That was tense !! 2 average sides with fleeting moments of quality. We won't get many more points playing like that. Got the win though so job done. Great goal by Welbeck and Dawson was solid. They caught us on the break too much - Newcastle will love it.
Thank God for that. Nobody cares how we did it, we just had to do it. Hopefully a big mental block out the heads of the boys. We are still rubbish, Norwich are just rubbisher. Troy Deeney is finished as a starting striker and that comes from his biggest supporter. Welbeck gives us a goal of the season at least. Just one more game without losing and we might be okay.
One moment of magic from a proper striker (unlike our fat fraud of a #9) in an altogether rancid game. Can’t see where we get any more points.
Needed the 3 points and we got them so I’m happy tonight. Still not convinced with our 4-2-3-0 formation though.
Considering i had convinced myself i didnt care, i could barely watch at the end. Get in there boys! 3 more points and i reckon we are safe.
