Well we are rather overrun with quality CBs at the moment so moving one of the many out does make a lot of sense. We can then sign another GK.
Hopefully not a 4.5 year deal or anything that long, but I doubt we will have learnt from our mistakes. Turns 29 in February.
Don't bet against it ! Or it will be just 2 years now but a 4 year to follow when that expires. Would Gino really be that Kabasele ?
Kabasele has spoken. Seems like he is happy to go back training but supports Deeney's decision. Think the neutral ground issue is in the bin now ? http://sportwitness.co.uk/taking-su...hits-neutral-venue-plan-defender-troy-deeney/
He sounds a lot more reasonable than Troy: “They explained to us that it was better to open the training centre, to prevent players from going to the parks or being unable to do real football work, to make our lives easier. “Personally, I feel safer there than when I go shopping. We are surrounded by people tested negative… the risks are limited in this phase 1.
Kabasele been trolling people on Twitter here : https://mobile.twitter.com/chriskabasele27/status/1264306615110512646
And ofcouse the Mail totally miss the point of it all. Is he joking or getting angry? - seems to be a contradiction there . https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...onavirus-players-staff-reacts-Blades-fan.html
Nervy on the ball, who knows, he might be the one to miss out if Troost-Ekong comes in, but can we take a minute to appreciate his defensive display today? Absolutely rock solid
Been out since December... But might get a call up to the Belgium squad? http://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-m...nnouncement-expected-friday-waited-patiently/
I don't think we should release for international duty for two reasons, Covid restrictions and it would be too much of risk as he has been out injured for so long. He needs to stay under the supervision of the clubs medical and fitness team and as for 10 days Covid isolating that is a big no no IMO.
I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t have to isolate for 10 days unless Belgium play a game in a red list country, and they don’t.
Reckon Local Man might be our best option next to Sierralta next season tbf, WTE I doubt will quite be up to Prem football, and Cathcart might be a bit too old
Don’t rate him personally. It feels like he does something stupid every game. He cost us about 10 goals per season in the PL.
I used to do breakfast tennis at Goblin and pre school lessons for performance players. The only good thing was I could listen to Danny Baker on 5L driving to work! I won a t shirt once and my lesson heard me on the programme,it was about 'Two Way Stretch'. A fine film.
Seems he’s started working on his coaching badges: https://twitter.com/watfordfcacad/status/1392379694801162241?s=21
Good luck to him, but I hope he also continues to play for the team for at least a year or two as well.
Hopefullly kabs and sierralta are first choice CBs next season. I think that pairing is more than good enough for the Premier league.
Sorry I don't agree, he is as good as if not better than Sierralta, though obviously they are at opposite ends of their careers.
The guy does make at least one fatal error per game, they’re aren’t always punished of course but they often are. Reckon FS has the tools to make it, but we’ve yet to see how he stands up to the far more intense scrutiny of the PL, so we shouldn’t be getting ahead of ourselves too much regarding him yet either.
Yup. Without taking the thread off topic I agree with this. I don't even think he was playing at his peak in the last 8 or so matches or matching the high standards he set initially.
