Holebas is a fool. Poor defending, and not much better going forward. Hughes aside the rest of the team look out of there depth.
Not sure I rate this QSF guy. Whatever happened to that guy who took us to our record prem points tally position and a cup final. What’s he doing now ? Could we coax him back ?
Abysmal first half after a bright start, wrong team selection. Much, much better second half and when the subs were made. Should have won, far too many chances wasted. Doucoure's miss was truly abysmal. Hopefully the mini comeback creates some confidence.
Brilliant performance 2nd half. So unlucky not to win. It bodes well and very entertaining under QSF against a top 6 team. My worry is our defensive personnel leaves us needing 2 goals a game to get something out of games and that may well send us down.
Who were that team in yellow in the second half? If only we had a striker, we'd be a decent side. Enjoyable for the first time in months.
Plenty to work on. A bit disappointing not to take all three points after the two early gifts. Much better showing second half. More desire, effort and intensity. Sarr getting some match fitness and sharpness in his legs and Pereyra showing more sharpness and Docuoure flashes of his best. Something to work on as a platform. And Flores substitutions. Gracia should have made those sorts of changes and earlier as Quique did. They helped swing the game. Well done to the team.
Aside from that mad spell where the defence was utterly pathetic we looked very good. We just need to pick up a couple of points this month and smash through October.
Could have done with 3 points but that was absolutely fantastic. Can't believe they kept up the energy for 90 minutes. Hopefully that will give the players some confidence and we can turn that into wins.
Fantastic attacking display from the lads - Flores is going to have one hell of a job knocking that out of them.
Pretty similar issues to under Javi, but can't find fault with the effort of the players, even while we were losing. Our defence is still hot garbage, Dawson and Holebas in particular might as well not be there most the time. We're also just so wasteful and lacking in conviction in the final third - we had over 30 shots, which is nuts. Our conversion rate of chances is atrocious. That comeback should at least get our confidence back a bit, and if we keep that level of performance up then hopefully we at least shouldn't be completely adrift come Jan, but we're still in real need of improvements in defence and at centre forward.
We had over 20 shots in the second half v Arsenal's 4. I honestly don't know how we didn't win that in the end. Incredible.
Scary to think where we’d be in the league and how many we would’ve put past Arsenal if we had even an average conversion rate.
That was more like it, dominated them. Unlucky not to win but considering that we have been lacking so much confidence for so long we needed a dominant performance. We are competitors for European places, not bottom of the table cloggers. The players seemed to finally remember that today. We will be more clinical the confidence we gain
Strange game, luckily Arsenal pressed the self destruct button but we showed spirit. Del boy was majestic at times. An angry City away next, ah well.
I think some folk on here are as bad at lack of change of response to games as Javi was regarding formation and team selection. Surely you can’t feel anything other than positive after that performance. Absolutely dominated them! Great stuff!
A very useful point - mentally for the team as much as anything else. Does feel like two dropped, but 2-0 down you have to take that. Now, lets go and practice our shooting. Really should have taken one of those other chances.

Wow didn’t expect that 2nd half we looked almost very good Nice to see a defence worse than ours , what the **** where the doing. Only real negative for me is both goals were their fault rather than our skill , but we had 31 shots vs 7
