I'd imagine that's work permit related as he won't have one and therefore won't be allowed to train with us. Wouldn't be surprised if Cucho was with Udinese as well.
Preston fan here. We're desperate for a keeper. Dahlberg and Bachmann have been discussed on our forum. Not genuine links as such, just suggestions. Would either be available/realistic/suitable? Cheers.
Yes, Dahlberg is the next Buffon and we have high hopes for him becoming a club legend like Perry Digweed. It would cost you a loan fee of about £4mil but he would single-handedly win you promotion.
Given that we seem intent on persisting with Gomes as our number 2 until the day he can no longer take a bath by himself, it would make loads of sense for both of them to go on loan and get regular football.
On another note we have loaned out Hogg again according to Sky HOGG EXTENDS HUDDERSFIELD CONTRACT Jonathan Hogg has signed a new contract at Huddersfield. The 30-year-old midfielder has extended his stay with the Terriers until June 2021, with the club having the option of a further year’s extension.
Disappointing that once again we don't appear to be giving the youngsters a chance. Still I think a season in the championship will do him good, help toughen him up a bit. He still has time to improve and secure a squad place for next year, good luck Hoggy!
Really not sure he's ever going to make it with us though good to see we seem to be giving him enough time. Ready to boss our midfield in the champ next season ?
Sinclair had a productive debut for VVV Venlo. He was substituted on in the 66th minute and then was booked for a foul in the 90th.
Wilmot played the whole game for Swansea last night and assisted Stew's goal. According to some reports he had a solid game and impressed with his reading of the game and passing.
Mamadou Mbaye has joined Cadiz 'B' once more though nobody seems to know if it's on loan or permanently. One thing is for sure though... HE IS HUGE
So he's not starting for them in the league, only in cup games against League Two opposition? He may as well have stayed here then, it would have been the same situation.
Luis Javier Suarez played 90 mins for Real Zaragoza scoring the first in the 2-0 win over Tenerife and was given man of the match. Matheus Aias played 83 mins for Mirandes in a 2-2 draw away to Rayo Vallecano The lower leagues in Spain don’t start till next weekend!
https://www.diariodemallorca.es/rcd...hernandez-jugara-cedido-mallorca/1442759.html Looks like Cucho Hernandez has finally sorted out his deal to go to real Mallorca and at the same time extended his contract with Watford.
Couple of our other loanies I had forgotten about Leganes 0-1 Osasuna. Pervis Estupiñan played 90 mins for Osasuna and Marc Navarro came on in the 77th min for Leganes. Osasuna scored in the 79th min.
Few bits of interesting info in that Cucho piece. Firstly that he's injured until October (learning off Troy?) Secondly that we think he'll get an EU passport after this season (I think). Thirdly that several Spanish clubs wanted to buy him but we consider him to have a bright future so didn't want to. So looks like he's still in the clubs plans to actually play for us (as opposed to a Lukebakio-type situation), possibly next season? Looking forward to keeping tabs on him this season
You also have to prove you can take a siesta every Saturday afternoon between 3pm and 5pm. He'll fit right in when he turns up here next season.
As a South American, you need to be there for 2 years to be eligible for naturalization. A season isn't a year long, so unless you arrive well in advance of the first season's start two seasons won't qualify South Americans for Spanish citizenship.
Attacking midfielder Juergen Elitim was Man of the Match for Marbella in their 2-1 win over Villarrobledo today. The Colombian assisted for the first goal and won the penalty for the second.
I went to see Zaragoza v Elche on Friday night. Great stadium and a great atmosphere. Our boy Luis Suarez looked very good and caused a lot of problems for the Elche defence. All the fans around me where saying how good he is. Zaragoza were the better team and right at the end Suarez went down in what seemed to me and everyone around me to be a blatant dive, however VAR said it was a pen and Suarez but away a well placed pen. When he got subbed off the whole stadium was singing his name. Final score Zaragoza 1-0 Elche.
So all we have to do in order for Watford players to get a VAR decision made in their favour is loan them out? Sounds like a plan.
