For those NITK, Wiki tells us 'Oudin is a youth exponent from Stade de Reims.' Possible custodial term to follow. Classic Hornet #9 pedigree!

They want 10 million - would we really offer 3 million less if the report is true? Newcastle are also linked - sounds more like the sort of thing Mike Ashley would do.
I just saw that Reims also have a player called Xavier Chavalerin - had to do a double take. Still, if we sign a player from there it surely has to be him?! If we squint we could pretend it's still the glory days of GT.
He did score 10 goals in 36 apps in Ligue 1 this season as well which wiki doesnt show for some reason
We have a Remi at the club. I hope if we buy this chap,he's better at football than Remi is at tennis. There's a Melanie Oudin that plays on the WTA Tour too. Hope he's not a hybrid of the two!
Given the way he strikes the ball and his loose limbed running style you can see where the van Persie comparisons come from. Seems very good at using both feet though, which is useful. He doesn't appear to be an obvious centre forward though, more of a versatile attacking player, and supposedly he's started most of his games on the right wing. It certainly would be nice to have a right winger with some attacking threat.
Because we've offered €7m which is about £6m for a player with very little experience in the French top league ?
We didn't offer 10 million, we offered 7, knowing they wanted 10. 7 million is absolute peanuts in 2019.
That wasn’t relevant though to the point you made. You implied going after the player at all shows we are trying to buy cheap tat with this guy? Would you rather he was the same player but cost us £30m? If that isn’t what you’re suggesting, then can you explain why you think he’s not good enough? Or is it because you haven’t heard of him? Why does a player have to be expensive to be good? If we pay somewhere in the middle for example, €8.5m - that’s over £7.5m. That’s not absolute peanuts to a club with finances like ours.
I think you have to factor in where a player is coming from. Barring a couple of exceptions in Lyon and PSG, French clubs rarely get into 8 figures for an outbound transfer.
