Unless you go as one of your other logins, say Rookery dad, enabling you to mask-up ?

OK, not great then ! Might be worth going in just for the atmosphere before moving on to the stadium...and giving the beer and loos a miss ?

Thats what I meant. However whereas we all have the problem, "what does Moog look like", you know what you look like but need to decide "what should RD look like?"

I had half a mind to try it, as the semi-final outdoor fan park outside the stadium was possibly the lamest thing I've been to at a football match. Will scratch Box Park off the list too then. Ta.

I heard some good reports of Box Park and it's where I'm heading. Certainly can't be worse than The Green Man

I always seem to start at the Green Man, every time I’ve been to the new Wembley. Secretly I think it’s cr@p and I’d rather go somewhere else, but old habits die hard I guess.

it is crap but it's the best of a very bad bunch. I will be doing most of my drinking away from wembley. Hate the place.

I would rather have a drink in Croxley and then head straight to the ground to be honest but that may be an age thing and the rest of my group all want to go to Box Park. Wembley is just a complete dive wherever you go to be honest and I can't stand the place

Box Park most certainly can be worse than the Green Man, trust me on that.

For the semi final we had a beer in Croxley and went to box park for the rest. This time it's Croxley only then Wembley Stadium. Please have a word with your group.

Green Man - just a regular pub really, certainly not somewhere you'd go any other time. But it's well set up for football masses, plenty of bars, plenty of space and plenty of toilets etc. Beers are all your standard fare really, £5 a pop. Food is limited to a couple of greasy spoon vans (Burgers/Hot Dogs etc). Atmosphere has always been very good when I've been with a decent sing-song and the odd yellow flare set off and never seen it turn sour. But if you want somewhere to sit down, not the best bet.... Always seen plenty of families there with no bother and enjoying proceedings.

Box Park - Much better located as its literally right next to the stadium. Much better food choices but the queues and wait for the food is painful. Beers are more expensive and not a great varied choice either. More seating available but will almost certainly be taken unless you're planning on getting there far earlier than most. Not many toilets either so expect queues. Atmosphere has been okay when I have been but its just always felt cramped and claustrophobic to me. Green Man has far bigger and open space. Unsure of the family worthy aspect of Box Park to be truthful but sure its okay, just more cramped as I say.

Can't vouch for any other pubs. Some say JJ Moons which seems to be just a standard Wetherspoons from what I can muster from Google....

Using one's forensic skills, that is, observing the avatars, I would say that Moog bears a striking resemblance to GT, early 80s version, & that we are twins.

Furthermore, I would suggest that Moog, Smudger & Leighton Buzzard are one & the same.

Poirot fiddles with moustache & credits roll.

Throwing them off the scent. Clear as day now that he will be playing 4 upfront. 4-2-4 it is.

For those of you debating whether or not to go to Box Park, I think there is a charge of £10 to "guarantee" entrance for the Final. Didn't go there for the semi-final; was considering popping in on Saturday but not paying £10 for the privilege of simply stepping inside.

    How odd!
I had a chat with him,I sidled up to him.
He was very candid about The Bald Italian and said the board were star struck and never interviewed him, just appointed him on reputation.
