Huddersfield have played better since knowing they were down. As have Fulham. From what I heard, Brighton were relaxed and playing like a team without all the tension and anxiety that they've had for a few weeks. Our players are still experiencing the pressure and expectations from all the talk about finishing 7th ... don't think it's mental weakness anymore than elsewhere (look at what happened to Arsenal today - and the reaction of their players, and Spurs against Bournemouth) think it's just exhaustion and running out of physical and mental stamina ...
i am depressed, was really excited because i had four tickets for four games in a row doing shift work it is hard to go sometimes saw v wolves, v Chelsea coming up west ham and citteh will i see a win?
I will sound like a snowflake but today was me least favorite game this season mostly because of the nobs where i was sitting Chelsea is a grim ground as it is, no need to add to it by behaving like a ****
As for our record against the top six this season, it has been poor, yes we have had some great performances in losing matches but having a good go does not registered in the history books a fantastic season overall but when you take 3 points from 36 it is not enough
I do agree some of our players are exhausted. Unfortunately we purchased some very poor squad options like Sema, Navarro etc so they don't get a break. Farming Wilmot out on loan for little game time was idiocy by the club when he could have rotated in for Doucoure/Capoue if Chalobah clearly wasn't trusted.
Only say maybe 15 - 20, making stewards lifes difficult because they were not allowed to stand in the aisles, a few wannabe danny dyers and some chanting about alonso the murderer
They’ll know each other. Maybe shared a beer after THAT match. Also, both within Gino’s credit card limit. Watch this space!
It's to illustrate that even the very worst teams can get results against these teams. Clearly we have a problem, and have had it all season. Not sure if it's a fear factor, phobia or mental meltdown, but it's a real issue and will only get in the way when we play City in the final. That's all that matters now, and if Watford are even going to make the game competitive they have got to get over these fears.
Just LOL at any talk about winning the final. The best we can hope for is that it isn't a record defeat. That's 6-0 currently and I don't know a single watford fan who doesn't think that record's not getting broken on the 18th. Not one.
Prior to KO, me for one. Why the fcuk would you think any other way? And I'd quite like Bury to keep that record too.
Looking above I saw that Going Down and Relegation Certs had posts next to each other, which made me realise that I'd been reading them as the same person for several years. They are the same person aren't they?
I believe his defenders on here, during his debacle of a stay, claimed he was still growing. Perhaps a role as Fezzic in a Princess bride reboot awaits him.
The Princess Bride is probably the worst film I've ever seen. Achieved cult status because it's **** and people who want to be trendy pretend to like **** stuff.
[QUOTE="Top three finish, post: 2739563, and some chanting about alonso the murderer[/QUOTE] I had to Google this. Turns out he drove when he was totally ****ered and killed a girl. Sorry if their chants hurt his feelings, but also **** him.
I honestly think that some people only look at the score before slagging off our club. We were brilliant for much of that game.
Chalobah lost his man and Mariappa didn't stay with Luiz. Good movement for 3rd tbf. Holebas was unlucky twice !
