I was worried when he had to go off to be replaced by Masina. Thankfully Traore is much better at running than actually doing anything with the ball.

 

Traore would struggle in park football.

I imagine he has always won the bleep tests but a triumph of data over ability.

 

There was a lot of respect from Wolves fans I spoke to before and after. Very gracious in defeat, one Wolves fan said that although their first choice team is very good they don't have the strength in depth like we do. I guess he was right, when we had injury crises in the last two seasons the quality of our back ups were laid bare and now (as shown at Newcastle in the 4th round) that we have adequate back up for every position.

I have never met a bunch of fans that believe their team are so much better than what they actually are. Yeah they play some good football but they are nothing special and the agent that is getting them players such as Neves will be the same man that's in the players ears when a bigger club comes along.

The fans were excellent, yesterday was the first time I have actually enjoyed the atmosphere at Wembley, we completely oustsung Wolves despite them giving it Johnny big b**** about all the tickets they had sold.

 

Wolves fans generally were good-natured to myself after the game - they must have been devastated so I did feel for them.

Although, was quietly minding our own business at The Signal Box pub at Euston at 9:30ish last night and having a last celebratory pint - when a lone Wolves fan made his way over and mockingly fell over claiming Watford were doing it all game and we should be embarrassed of our team?! What game was he watching? Then he proceeded to unload the rather large chip on his shoulder about the day - generally making no sense whatsoever. Needless to say my 71 yr old father promptly told him to **** off.
