Deeney is the kind of player that his own fans love and opposition fans love to hate. He knows it and plays on it too. I think, in this case, it's some comments that Deeney made about Jimenez and his mask celebration. To be fair, if the tables were turned, people on here would be ranting too. The Wolves fans we met in person were all gracious - to be honest, I think they were too shell shocked to be anything else. Some of those we saw drowning their sorrows in a bar alongside us celebrating looked close to tears.

I am assuming those were the ones in the "Club Wembley" tier above the Watford fans? I should have added that they were the only section that looked like they were being complete *****. I couldn't understand why the stewards were allowing them to behave like that. I treated Mr HH to a box at Upton Park for a West Ham/Liverpool game many moons ago for his birthday, with a load of our mates. For the match you were sat above the main West Ham area, like those Wolves fans were with Watford yesterday. We were all supporting Liverpool for the match but it was made very clear to us to be mindful of where we were sitting and to be respectful in any celebrations or we would be removed.

If City win the league and cup then the Community Shield is played between 1st and 2nd in the league.

It’s not like tickets are cheap at Wembley. Pay all that cash to have that above you. What a hole.

Overpriced, crap beer, lukewarm food. Great occasion, but **** me does Wembley try to spoil it.

Is it common for 57 year old ex-footballers to have minders?

Have to say, statistics will show that Deulefeou suffered the ignominy of being subbed on and then subbed off.

Didn't lllk at any other stats for the game, but that's pretty damming.

I thought it was all over after 75 minutes, but what an unbelievable turnaround. What a first game to see at Wembley, and for the first time in my life Watford are in the final.

Only bad part for me was losing a scarf with the 1970's logo on it. Sadly have no idea where it went

Would be nice to do to Wolves what we have done to Palace this season, beat them three times!

When I watched yesterday's goal on the replay, he does a sort of flap with is foot as it strikes the ball. Odd but effective.

If you'd written this in Latin Quatrains, 690 years ago, people now would be struck at how eerily accurate it is, barring a few interpretations

I got lucky yesterday. I found a scarf with a 1970's logo on it, but swapped it for a **** mask with a Wolves fan.

Bloke has absolutely no filter whatsoever! To be fair, he's usually absolutely spot on in what he says, people complain that footballers are cardboard cutouts these days, but you can't say anything without getting stick.

He is right about Jiménez, though in fairness with the timing, if the same thing had happened to us I'm sure we'd have all been seething!

In complete contrast with Deeney's penalty! Was so worried that they'd finally wise up to him smashing pens down the middle, and Ruddy got close but just got beaten for pace!

The **** mask sums up football fans in general. There's very few clubs that show respect and humility. Him wearing that was premeditated and disrespectful to Watford. Just like saying, we're 2-0 up and this is p1ss easy so will make fun of you.

The Wolves fans can say all they like about it's intention and only a harmless bit of fun, but if the result turns the other way, you'll all end up looking like ****s.

Personally, I really enjoyed the 3rd goal more than the first. The first was a fantastic piece of skill and technique, but it felt like a consolation.

The third was a great move between Gray & Delafoo, with a perfectly weighted pass and such an inteligent finish just rolling it in - plus right in front of the Wolf fans. That's the goal I keep rewatching.

I like the interview Deeney gave saying that this was our moment. It's not a bout Man City, it's about us. We've come a long way from near administration, a 3-sided ground, and some real football heart breaking moments. We've bloody well earned this.

I lost my old man last year and emotion got the better of me at the final whistle thinking how much he'd had loved it, I'd have given anything to have shared that moment with him yesterday. Absolutely anything. Good on you for cherishing the moment - these are special times.

I heard that there was a lot of the prawn sandwiches and proshekko left over in the Watford corporate section.

There are some hilarious comments on here.

    https://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/index.php?threads/troy-deeney.210990/

Reading their forum has more content on Watford, than this one. It's unbelievable.

There is a Troy Deeney thread, and Jackett and Gray thread, a Deulofeu thread, a Ben Foster thread.
    https://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/index.php?threads/ben-foster.210996/
    https://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/index.php?threads/jackett-and-gray.210974/
    https://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/index.php?threads/deloufeu.210989/

These guys really hold a grudge if you've been to Wolverhampton and are not instantly in love with the place. It's really funny to read.
