It's too far for the salad boys, the fruit and veg would be off by the time driver Baz got it up there!

If my memory serves me correctly Bar still owes us 4.5 million which the high court said he had to pay us back, however he made an instalment of £37,500 and then went bankrupt. If he is mr saviour for Bolton Wanderers he should pay us back first! There is no way he would pass a fit a proper person test.

Man City's owners shouldn't pass the fit and proper person's test.

And a scoreboard. We only got one of the two. I think it might still be with those Evolution HD people who didn't pay for their shirt sponsorship. That along with appointing Baz were decisions made by the salad boys.

For this reasons I also assume that salad is a bad idea.

"Ken Anderson, whose three-year ownership has brought one indignity after another, always warned long-suffering Bolton supporters that there would be plenty of people out there who would do a worse job than him. Does he really have to prove the point by selling to one, though?"

Oliver Kay in Saturday's Times, concluding his excellent review of Bas's achievements at Watford.

I've spoken to my Bolton-supporting friend. He tells me that, while he appreciates our concerns (and perhaps disdain) of Baz, they've got to do something, as he believes those in situ would happily liquidate the club if need be. I recommended the Bolton fans chained themselves to the stadium to stop him from entering; my friend's reply was that the place will get chained up in either case.

From BBC website, especially love the last sentence.

The relegation-threatened side have withheld the identity of the prospective buyer, but were given until 8 May to pay the outstanding sum.

Former Watford chairman Laurence Bassini is reported to have been at the hearing, with the club's barrister Hilary Stonefrost telling the court: "The prospective purchaser is here."

She added that Bassini, whose controversial tenure at Vicarage Road lasted only 13 months, "has proof of funds".

Bassini declined to comment before he was driven away from the court in a white Rolls-Royce, reports the Press Association.

My thoughts exactly. You cannot buy class.

He is such an obvious con man. I'm sure BWFC owners have done their research & can see through it, a white roller actually gives the game away. Seems they are so desperate that it doesn't matter.

As that rumour that we were hours away from imploding financially when the Pozzps bought us just that - a rumour?

The owners won't care. Not their problem after they've gone unless there is any future payments due to them. I guess they would effectively walk away rather than receive anything.

    Hilarious !

"I don't know whether we'll survive this season - if we do go down we'll be putting a large sum of money in to take them straight back up.
"If they go down it's a three-year plan, if they stay up it's a two-year plan to get in the Premier League."
............"I think the Bolton fans deserve more and they need to feel safe. I think they can feel safe with me," added Bassini,"

This part of the article is damning:

The punishment came after he was found guilty of misconduct and dishonesty over financial dealings during his time with the Hornets.

How on Earth is this sort of **** allowed to happen? I shouldn’t be surprised as business is full of corrupt, evil tosspots globally who shout and bully and con their way into power. It’s just that this person is such a clown and seemingly a frontman for people behind the scenes. Suspect he was well paid for “taking a hit” over the fiasco with our club, yet is somehow able to plough straight back in.

Outside of producing money to stop them going under (and that really is the crux of the matter) this makes no sense whatsoever from a business standpoint.

Christ almighty. I heard the rumours but I honestly couldn’t believe they were true. And if they were, I was certain that the EFL wouldn’t allow it. But they have.

What a disgrace and a shame for Bolton. Simon Jordan saying they should make it known they’d rather have 12-points deducted and administration imposed.

Just click on the 2nd link to hear the utter **** that is coming from his mouth - all far far too reminiscent.

The EFL should be utterly ashamed of themselves for not protecting Bolton from this. Shaun Harvey, head-honcho of the Football League has simply said that he’s served his punishment and is free to take over - what about being ‘fit-and-proper’? What about protecting the fans and interests of a member club? I’m fairly sure that even the most amateur sleuths would be able to disprove Bazsczcini’s claims that he’s in a sound financial position to be eligible to buy the club.

Just a peak at the Bolton boards show most are very worried about this - and I’m not sure they even know about the texts sent to the Watford Observer.

There’s a few who seem hopeful - hoping he leaves them in s similar way to how he left us ‘healthier and ready for the PL’.

    Who’s going to tell them?
