The size of the pitch (in yards) does throw a lot of teams.

Classic BBC football proofreaders more like. I'm sure it's a bunch of school leavers editing that site as there are mistakes in it constantly.

Long time since I watched that but I did introduce some friends to Rik’s bench in Hammersmith recently.

Its a classic FA CUP Semi. Hornet gold vs Old gold. Lets really give this a go.

Foster starts. Gray as super sub.

    2-0.

This has easy win written all over it. Wolves are tinpot! Such a small irrelevant club that no-one has heard of.

I actually feel sorry for the 3,000 fans that they have managed to muster together for their huge day out against a massive club like Watford.

I just hope we take it easy on them and don’t embarrass them too much. Once we are 4-0 up we should let them score in the 90th minute so their fans have something to tell the grandkids one day.

Foster has to start, massively jeopardising our chances if not.

Drop Mariappa as well. Time to stop pretending he's anything like good enough for this level because he's "one of our own" and sticks a big tackle in now and again.

Yep, it's basic stuff. It was no surprise whatsoever that the sequence leading to their goal involved a scuffed clearance and a hapless mis-control by our calamitous duo. Hertfordshire's answer to laurel and hardy.

Mariappa is just not good enough. Lovely bloke but not up to the standard. Why there should be any sentimentality towards him from our fans is beyond me. He's raking in £20k+ a week, it's hardly going to ruin his life if he's dropped.

Agreed. Drop Hughes as well. A decent work rate is not enough.

I love Mapps, he’s a proper Watford legend but in our last two homes games , he made major **** ups. Sadly, I think it’s time to take him out of the firing line and replace him with Kabby the clown

If Pereyra's injured, as Hughes is left footed how about sticking him over to the left, play Deulofeu in the hole.

    Foster
    Janmaat - Cathcart - Kabasele - Holebas
    Kiko - Capoue - Doucoure - Hughes
    Deulofeu
    Deeney

I'd have Grey on in the second half at some point to continue his good run at being an impact sub.

From what I've heard in the media it's a Wolves vs Wolves semi-final which will make things very difficult indeed for us.

Who says Pereyra's injured? He went off against Fulham because his wife had gone in to labour, apparently

It was also reported that he had a slight knock. If he's fit then I would start the same team that started on Tuesday apart from having Kabasele in for Marriappa. However that does raise the question of whether one would start with Janmaat or Kiko as someone else asked.

As a compromise, re Gray, I'd start Sema with Gray on the bench, and then bring him on for Sema, for his "super-sub impact" after 2 mins.

He did take a knock to the hip - was rubbing it quite a bit towards the end of the first half.

Seems Wolves are planning a huge mosaic display with coloured bags as the teams walk out. In fairness looks pretty good. It also says an awful alot about the education system in their neck of the woods that the club felt it needed to post a diagram illustrating the complicated instructions of how to hold the bag up...

At least they are doing something. I'm assuming our mob were too busy arguing over which pub to meet up at.

If Brighton win tomorrow then this game is a must win and I'll be nervous as h*ll on Sunday.
If Man City win then Sunday is meaningless to me. I'm going to enjoy a day out with the chaps.

Don't worry, the FA will find a way to ensure City come back from 2-0 down again.
