Do I sense, with AG & Stacey Dooley, a certain mellowing in the relationship?

What about Morgan holding him all the time. So if you want to think about a possible offside, let's talk about a definite penalty.

He held him with all the force of a bulldozer holding back a butterfly.. or is that the other way round?
Either way Deeney would have been embarrassed to be awarded a pen for that.

As others have said - Think we watched different games. The most frustrating thing was seeing their defenders bundling all over the back of Troy with no foul given, however, Hughes rubbing shoulders with Chilwell, making him fly like superman was a foul. Some of the "fouls" given to them were ridiculously soft.

Great win in the end. After Liverpool I was convinced we wouldnt get another point this season.

I thought they were much the better side in the second half, so much so that I lashed £2 on them to win at 18-1 about 5 mins before vardy scored. I thought it was a master stroke.

Ndidi for them I thought was good.

Deeney MOTM and I thought POTS holebas was supreme too. Someone said deeney reacted to the Leicester fans in the first half. Anyone know what it was about?

Only downside of the day was udinese getting a flukey win and not getting the opportunity to boo gray. But we go again at man city.

I thought our defence was good again today. Yes Cathcart and Marriappa let themselves down with the goal, but we kept dealing with attacks (Leicester only got two shots on target all game) but it kept coming back at them because the midfield were incapable of holding the ball for more than a couple of passes. Leicester were just better between the boxes.

I really did think the officials were poor, several offsides were missed, including our goal, and if the referee wasn't biased, then he was giving a damn good impression of it.

And I thought Deeney was excellent today. When he is fit, mobile and controlled, he's an asset.

Some sharp mind in the Leicester end came up with the ingenious chant of "Troy Deeney is a ****3r", to which Deeney raised his hands, gave them a sarcastic clap and smiled.

Everyone near us cheered and the Leicester fans shut up instantly.

I've watched the game again, from the SkySports recording. What was most evident, was that Moss ignored virtually every foul on Deeney. There was also a blatant foul on Deulofeu as he was running down the wing as well not given, but most of it involved Deeney. Even the match commentators were picking up on it in the end.

We should have been awarded a penalty in the 87 minute and Maguire clearly held down Deeney in the box. Moss let Leicester's units do what they liked to Deeney for the entire match. But every small coming together in Leicester's favour was awarded as a foul.

I thought with the emotion of being at the match, I may have been harsh on Moss. I just wanted to see with fresh eyes from the view of the TV, but it was just as evident. It was just a ridiculous performance from Jon Moss today, as he didn't even try to be subtle about what he was doing.

What I want to know is, why didn't Moss celebrate with the rest of the Leicester team when they scored? Strange one that.

I'm just happy we won and that this fat slob of a man didn't ruin another Watford match.

The Gray goal was at the other end from where I sit, so I can now appreciate what a good goal it was. Wonderful pass from Deeney and Gray's first touch and finish was superb.

I thought Deeney was brilliant today as was Mariappa, although he did get caught out badly for the Vardy goal.

All in all, we're not as skilful as some of the other teams in the Premier League. We can be a bit loose with our passing and tend to delay shooting or passing quickly when good opportunities present themselves. But where we do excel is teamwork, desire, work ethic and organisation. Watford are so well organised, and it's not always obvious at how good we are at this.

Gracia gives players a job to do, a structure to work in, things to do when we're out of possession, pressing and the overall shape we quickly get in to when we lose the ball. It's very good to see, and the players must totally buy into Gracia as they are all doing their jobs very well when we're out of possession.

Keeping a good shape at all times, allows us to remain in matches, and it wears the opposition down. I believe this is the secret to Watford's success, and long may that continue.

Your hand cannot be offside; only the bits of you that can legitimately score can be offside.

Apart from the 10 minutes when we started to play the inept Jon Moss, who lost complete control, it was a pretty decent performance

Only Pereyra looked like he was selecting his sun bed

Are we going to forgive him?

"I didn’t hear so much [boos] to be honest. I’ll always be grateful to Watford. They gave me a chance. I made a mistake when I left here. It’s a wonderful club."

I was told by my brother, watching on TV, that he played over 5 minutes.

I misunderstood this - We were singing 'You're too fat to referee' at the same time and I thought Troy's signal was a thumbs up to that song, agreeing that Moss was, indeed, over the weight limit for effective officiating.

I presume that Moss took more than his share of prematch sandwiches, which also explains why a lighter, hungrier Troy was so effective.

I don't give a **** about him TBH. He's making his own reputation. It doesn't bother me. It's like worrying about a 4/10 bird you used to nob when you were a bit down on your luck. You see her knocking around with a similar level of bloke, whilst you're married to a supermodel. No regrets and no hard feelings.

More accurately, he blew after the Leicester attack finally ran out of steam. If they had won a corner or attacking throw in, I don't doubt we'd still be playing, if needed.

I liked the stat that was mentioned in the commentary. When Vardy scored he said that's the first goal Ben Foster has conceded at home in 2019. Sounds impressive, until you realise we've only played 3 home matches (including today) in 2019, meaning 2 clean sheets, so not quite such a "wow" stat after all.

Seems strange that we're into March and only played 3 times at home this year.

Fair play, he loves getting involved with the crowd. Happened at woking too if I remember right.

I'd hate him too if I was a Leicester fan to be fair! But not as much as I'd hate my parents for spawning me in Leicester.
