How many times have we played at Wembley in our history? Everton FA Cup 1984 Bolton Play off final 1999 Crystal Palace FA Cup SF Crystal Palace Playoff final Spurs league 2018 Spurs league tomorrow Any other occasions? Can't think of any......but we have won once. (maybe twice )
Leeds PO Final under Boothroyd? Or was that at the one in Cardiff? Be nice to go there tomorrow night and give a good account of ourselves. I’m sure we will.
My wife went out with Darren Bent at sixth form age. Funnily enough, the first Watford game I took her to was Spurs in the League cup when Priskin gave us the lead; The wife’s ex boyfriend then came off the bench and scored the winner. ****!
In this moment it is once. Wins against the big teams and at big venues are a once in thirty year events for Watford. We’ve already used one up against Tottinghem this season. Let’s draw tonight and save the win for the FA cup final!
I cant be arsed to go tonight. I think we'll lose comfortably 2-0. I'd rather he put out the team that beat newcastle than our "stars". Sans chalobah obviously. The thought of seeing deeney lumbering around makes me feel sick, and capoue is bound to bottle it against his old employers.
Spurs have had a couple of problems recently, on which the midweek media have happily jumped. A couple of very good players are out with injuries. We've already beaten them once this year. But anybody who thinks we have just got to turn up to win is deluding themselves. This is not like visiting City, we are in with a chance, but only a slim one.
Agreed. They looked pretty good v palace and missed a great opportunity and a pen. I'd bite your hand off for a draw. That being said, at 5/1 I'll be having a cheeky fiver on us to win! They'll play more openly and attacking than Burnley so we will have chances to get in behind them, and we'll be fresher.
Our point vs Burnley is now looking pretty decent considering how well they fared vs Utd last night, they've definitely turned a corner. As for the Spurs game, the big clubs have looked a bit iffy so far this gameweek, as if struggling to get back in to their stride after the FA Cup. With Spurs' injury concerns as well, all signs point towards us getting a decent result - so a 2-0 loss should be enough for us to keep our spirits up, so that we can go again in the Brighton game.
Judging by the number of unsold seats still available on the Spurs website stadium plan I reckon there'll be less than 20,000 at Wembley tonight to see a famous Watford win
Been to every one of those. Awful Fantastic Awful Bl**dy awful Left early Tonight? Going to enjoy it whatever. At least we get to shout "same old Tottenham, you've done it again", at them.
Yeah, I imagine there will be a few Watford fans in the Spurs ends tonight, looks like you can just register an account and snap them up.

My GF is a relation of Sam Bartram (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Bartram) who has a statue + bar named after him at Charltons ground. Her and her family were invited to the unveiling of it.

It was really quiet when I got off train. Maybe a few no shows as well due to the cold. The walk up to the green man was already icy
