hhhhmmm 2-1 would of been a fair result on chances, not counting scuffed ***** from little pea as we had plenty off shots wasted

Merry christmas all, great win, bring on chelsea

I thought the ball was headed by their defender to Pereyra, he played a one two with GD, then played it back to Del to take a little touch and sidefoot home.

Whatever we do in the Jan window keep Delefeou and Pereyra. When they are on their game they are match winners.

Probably, but it's immaterial as far as I'm concerned. We'll be well clear of it this season.

Even through our bad run, I still believed in this side. We were playing well, but just missing chances and falling victim to refereeing injustices.

Today was the first time this season, where we rode our luck a little. A draw was probably a fair result, but how many games have we had when we didn't get what we deserved. Fulham, Newcastle, Everton & Arsenal spring to mind. Only 2 points picked up from those is insane when you compare that against the performances.

Right now, I'm very optimistic over a top half finish, however, we do need to strengthen. Two effective players in January, one up front and one in central defence, should take us to Europe. If we don't make those signings, then we'll probably just fall short.

Dear Javi, I'm really sorry for the constant swearing at you from the 55th minute, you obviously saw Sema and Deeney doing stuff I didn't.

Just reading the KUMB forum...all Lee Mason's fault apparently...quite funny really...they should try having 2 blatant offside goals given.

The Cockaney's tears are quenching my thirst this evening.

We took our chances and they hit the goal posts a lot.

The truth that will be recorded is that we won 2-0. Away from home. Against a decent prem side.
We looked capable in this division

Capoue was immense today, and his physicality alone when defending set-pieces from some outstanding Snodgrass deliveries probably goes some way to explaining why he got the nod ahead of Quina, despite the youngster putting in some impressive performances. I've no problem with Quina being in and out of the team while he develops.

Sema probably should have been replaced 10-15 minutes earlier. As mentioned above, he's worth throwing on when we're running the game down because he's a willing runner and physical presence, but he's pretty limited and so predictable. Lost count of the number of times in the second half that promising moves broke down because he's incapable of using his right foot. When you're under pressure away from home and need to make chances count, you can't afford to have a lumbering Sema running down blind alleys.

Thought Doucoure looked more like his old-self today. Still careless a few times, but it was great to see him winning the ball and striding forward on occasions, leaving the opposition in his wake. He was positive on the ball, and I enjoyed his performance, which should have been capped with a goal.

Special mention to Bobby and Deloufeu, who both put in a shift defensively, but looked threatening when they got the ball in forward areas.

Great win away from home, and a clean sheet. Happy days.

Sema IS obscenely one footed. Perhaps the most one-footed player I've ever seen in the Premier League. He did alright in the first half today but was poor in the second, I'd like to see us sign another winger in the transfer window (If Gerard continues to play as a striker)

  17. What a brilliant end to end game - either side could have taken it, some really poor misses on both sides. Not going to knock any of the players, it's all been said about Sema and Deeney.

When Pereyra and Deulofeu are on it they are different gravy, a sublime 2nd goal. Foster brilliant.

Gracia's late / bizarre / lack of substitutions will give me a heart attack.

Sema gets a lot of stick but he does do the defensive side of the game. And to be fair to him he is growing in confidence offensively too.

It was, Success brought down the goal kick from Foster before peeling on to the left wing and dragging a West Ham player with him. This left a gap Bobby and Gerry exploited.

Watford's second goal is one of the reasons Watford are such a dangerous side that can cause damage to any opponent. If you get Pereyra and Deulofeu close together on a break away they are lethal. The speed, quick thinking and quality these guys can produce is outstanding. You'd be hard pressed to find a better combo outside the top 6.

Watch the second goal on MotD tonight, and you will see what I mean.

Very even game against two very capable sides. There isn’t much between us and WHU but we probably can have an even better side with two more decent signings.

Definitely a penalty and well taken by Troy. I was too far away but the guy sat next to me said he saw something gettibg thrown at Deeney? Can anyone confirm that?

Brilliantly taken second by Delafoo and set up so well by Bobby P. Thought success played well today, his first touch reminds me of Mooney and Smith in their prime. Bit getting the hate for Sema, thought he worked hard and pressed well going forward and back.

It was a case of how many chances were Spam going to miss before we got punished for more for awful finishing. We create good chances pass the ball well and work hard. Gracia has us drilled well but my god we could be beating teams 3 or four most games had we got a decent striker.

Fans were brilliant today. Thank you to everyone else who went today. It was undeserving for us to of lost this, but WHU deserved a point on their chances.

Foster my MotM today. Kept them out when they got close. Doucouré really should of scored his chance when we were 1-0 up. Glad Deeney got a goal at last again.

Chelsea next. It won’t be 4-1 again will it?

    Happy Xmas to all.

Blimey, we did better than I thought if we beat two teams in the same match.

Deeney said on 5L that he was not aware of anything being thrown although he also said he was a big boy and could take it. Case not proven.

Yes definitely a bottle thrown. Looked like a plastic bottle, don’t think it hit him. Troy did kinda of wind the WH fans up after his goal. I am not sure whether they were giving him stick
