Bit of trivia for you all... he's got a twin sister called Stefania, who plays netball for Italy: Other than the Holdsworths, I can think of four other Watford players (past and present) that are twins, two of them brothers (although apparently one didn't make a senior appearance). Of the other two, one's a current player (sort of) and the other was from not too long ago. Any guesses? Edit: there may well be more but I can only think of four!
Andy and Chris Johnson? I always thought it was Lee Johnson who was also a youth player with us but seems not..
Andy and Chris were twin brothers if I remember, always out of the pish in town, I think Chris was meant to be very highly rated when I was a kid but they both gave their careers up by getting in loads of trouble. Lee, Gary's son was also at the club but not related to the twins.
Ian Morgan played for us in the 70s as well as QPR, His identical twin Roger also played for QPR but not us.
James Chambers was of course a twin, His brother was Adam if I recall, he of course didn't play for us either.
Yep, the Johnson twins and James Chambers were three of the answers I was thinking of. Didn't know about Ighalo or Ian Morgan. There's still one more player who's currently on our books who is one of a set of twins...
Rumours from Italy that Okaka could be off to Udinese this summer: https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/ser...er-sostituire-il-partente-duvan-zapata-967009
What the hell is going on with Okaka that he can't even get on the bench despite the abysmalness of Gray and Deeney?
Deeney is the best player with his back to goal, Gray is the fastest and Okaka is the best finisher. Shame we can combine them all to produce one new player with all their attributers. But knowing our luck we'll end up with a slow, overweight player, who can't control the ball or anticipate a chance, and tires after 30 minutes.
what ever the falling out was about someone has to hold out an olive branch. Okaka isn't the best option, but his better than the other 2 at the moment
Or is there a contract issue ? Somebody did mention to me an incident after the Bournemouth game but that might have been hearsay?
Silva doesn't think Okaka suits the style he wants to play...but then Deeney isn't exactly quick and mobile thesesdays. http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....ke-his-claim/story-30537416-detail/story.html
Not sure this adds much tbh.. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._no_explanation_for_Watford_omission/?ref=rss
Has the relationship thawed now? http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._gave_us_more_heart__says_head_coach/?ref=rss
Sun reckons he will go out on loan.. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/4921276/watford-transfer-news-stefano-okaka/
You put Okaka in, Okaka out In, out, in out and shake him all about http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...ble-for-everton-game-after-time-out-of-squad/ Probably signed a 2 year contract extension!
I wonder if the "snap" free kick he took in the gooner match was either: An example of his ability to think quickly and take chances. An example of him unable to effectively take part in any strategic game plan. My vote's on 2.
Loving his new haircut. Absolutely loving it. Smart, cool and stylish. Hope those mohican boys like Pererya and Deulofeu are taking note.
Out for the rest of the season with an injury that Gracia can't explain??? Sounds like his summer transfer out of here has been sorted and we don't want him to get crocked...
Usual Okaka linked with a move away rumour.. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...-for-bursaspor-samet-aybaba-confirms/?ref=rss Can he pass a medical though?
Fingers crossed this goes through. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...january-move-for-stefano-okaka-reports-claim/
Seems like the only person who would be disappointed if Okaka left will be Pereyra as they appear to be best buddies.
Okaka did not look happy on Saturday when Pereyra messed up his hair when he joined a goal celebration.
