The media drivel over Liverpool this year is at its sickeningly vomiting worst.

You'd have thought they'd already won the league.

Talksport, sky sports, BT sport's. All of them are at it.

I don't dislike Liverpool as such.

I dislike the whole desperation of the media for this dinosaur to win something again.

Burnley might not have players who dive but they are masters of other dark arts and tricks !

    Exactly.

Dyche’s virtue signalling over diving is somewhat hypocritical. The way Barnes smashed Schindler in the face was appalling.

Arsenal crushing Fulham 4-1 at the cottage currently. Maybe Fulham aren’t as great as I thought.

Ended up 1-5, Fulham's defence is not the one. All the more gutting we only picked up a point over there.

They will go down unless Slav finds some defenders!

Liverpool v Man City lived up to the hype then..

Couldn't even get a penalty on target ..

Interesting to note Van Dyke wasn't booked for the trip on Sane that lead to the penalty, yet Kabasele was. No doubting both were penalties, but surely if one is a booking then so is the other.

How does Jonathan Moss remain on the PL referees panel along with his equally clueless linesmen ? Missed a clear red card for Kompany, allowed Manchester City's diabolical second (simulation/offside/ball out of play) and then allowed Sane to remain on the pitch after his nasty kick out on Lowton. Perhaps City would have won the match even with ten men but to make such a **** up just because the foul took place in the first minute of a game is no excuse. It's a red card all day long. Lennon had a nasty gash as a result.

Mourinho also sticking true to character and remaining a prize pillock. Waving three fingers at the crowd. I don't care much for Chelsea. Actually not at all. But given the budget he had behind him it was not that difficult. These managers and that includes Guardiola all remind of the Emperors New Clothes. I would love to see them managing a team with smaller resources and see how they get on.

Hear, hear! Could Mourinho match what Keith Hill has achieved at Rochdale for instance?

Kompany red yes. Sane hack never a red. And Silva was offside for the second goal.

I don't think there's any conclusive angle showing the whole of the ball was over the whole of the line though. Looked like it could be in by millimetres to me, even on the goal line cameras. And that's enough. Certainly the benefit of the doubt should go to the attacking team, in my opinion.

Heard Zaha "won" a penalty- Palace missed anyway .

Was Sane not just violent conduct like that Cardiff one against spurs a couple of weeks back? No attempt to play the ball just a wild hack with intention to harm. Utterly idiotic as well given they were 3-0 up!

Leicester performing well at Arsenal and should have had a penalty for handball .

Haven't seen the game, but it seems Arsenal have got into their stride if the stats and recent commentary are anything to go by, and look a lot more dominant against Leicester than they were against us. They scored from their only two shots on target!

I think out of the better non-top six sides (assuming Man Utd get their act together) Leicester are one to look at finishing above.

Arsenal's third goal was a proper sweeping passing move from their own half to a tap in for Aubameyang.

That third goal was like watching Arsenal at their peak 10-15 years ago. This new manager must have something about him as nobody wins 10 in a row by accident.

I cannot wait for the day that Claude Puel is fired and I can enjoy watching Leicester again.

I’ll admit that my level of dislike for the man is verging on irrational.

These are now completely different jobs. One is managing the pr & the media & getting the egos on the pitch. The other is one step above marking out the pitches.

The interesting ones are those who make the transition which demands such different skills at different stages. Mourinho’s story is fascinating but now he is a clown in a soap opera. Grudging respect to Klopp for his journey.

This all prompts an uncomfortable question.

    Is Howe the modern GT?

    We sense that.

You could start a Puel Out thread on here.

We’d only talk about existentialist theatre or our first cars, as is the way on here.

Well I can tie that back in with Puel by saying that his football makes me question the point of even existing and I had a Beetle, which I didn’t want in the first place, completely hated and was stuck with for far to long.
