Has been given his first managerial gig in charge of Northampton in League 2 next season. Nearly kept them up this year as caretaker and pretty popular there. Good luck to him. I think he was instrumental behind the scenes in us getting promoted and then staying up under QSF.

No surprise. I've kept an eye on them and they've been completely rancid. The board backed him by keeping the core of their League 1 squad too.
Northampton get through quite a lot of managers . Been nothing but rubbish since Chris Wilder left them .
Some people are more suited to being coaches rather than manager/head coaches. In the "Enjoy the Game" book Steve Harrison said he hated being a manager because it wasn't suited to his personality.
