On the subject - can someone explain the difference (with skybet) between Watford to win with a 2 goal handicap (28/1) and Watford by 3 or more (50/1). I know both are ridiculous but you never know (Chelsea), but they seem to be the same bet with massively different odds. Or am I being 'obtuse'.
To win with a two goal handicap you need to win 3-1 at least. That's different to winning by 3 goals.
I only bet on Tongits so you may be right...but then GOBE has a legitimate question. 3-0 is by three or more and also a 2 goal handicap (apparently). Same result, vastly different odds.
Apparently you can get 25-1 for a Newcastle win at Man City this weekend. Almost certainly better off flushing your money down the toilet but tempting nonetheless
Team news is good news. All players except for Tom Cleverley are fit, although Deulofeu may not be risked and Chalobah is not ready for a Premier League start.
I don't understand when clubs say a player might not be 'risked'. Either he's fit to play or he isn't. If he's fit, where's the risk?
Taking into account our current form, the other options we have in his position and the two week break after Spurs, it does make some kind of sense. I'd rather have Sema and Femenia on the bench, players who could jump in and play 90 minutes if required.
Liked for many reasons, not least 'squiffy'. Apparently there were a few of them at this incident so they could have shared a taxi if funds were scarce. One of my pupils can only talk about Spurs and boy,can he talk about Spurs. Levy is building the new stadium to help English football the lad told me. Stupid boy Pike! I am so ancient I can remember the last win against Spurs. However I'd snatch your hand off for a point.
Nee Na Nee Na the grammar police are here. As it happens, I can see two grammatical errors in the one sentence you posted.
Now that we're big time, beating clubs that don't even have a stadium by anything less/fewer than a 4-0 tonking would be a big disappointment. Clearly our 2nd string team are too good based on Wednesday's result so I'd dip into the U15s for the majority of the team with the rest made up of U12s.
I think we all should know by now that supporting Watford is never this easy. Fully expect us to come crashing back down to earth this weekend, with an tonking and more likely than not, a couple injuries with a red card thrown in for good measure.
Last season under snake we went into this game in the mist of a poor run and got a point - could/should of even won due to a stonewall penalty turned down at the death. Spurs battered us 4-1 home and away the season before that and I am not feeling that will happen this time either. We are playing with confidence, scoring goals against the run of play (Palace, Burnley) and generally there is a positive feeling around the club. I really think we can win this, yes we play like dog ***** on T.V apart from the Chelsea whipping last season, but this is a great chance to be top three come the first international break. If we sit back and invite pressure they will crush us and kane is bound to get his goal against us, but if we are tight from the back to midfield, hope Deeney and Gray are on form and Holebas keeps his form up, there is nothing saying we are certain to lose. On current from Spuds are playing more attractive football (bar Newcastle where they were awful) but we, being not quite their level yet, have shown we can handle big games. I won't be pissed if we do lose, as long as the effort was there and we can go into Manure two weeks later with confidence still intact. 2-2

And thirty trillion flies eat dog poo, but it's still not a good idea for you and me. Be strong. Btw is the world ever anything other than modern at the time?
It was a hard fought 1-1 last year & I would definitely settle for that. South Stand Billy is our occasional visitor, I believe. Having checked Wiki, he may need to rebrand himself as Cowshed Billy for the evening.
Great start to the season, would be over the moon if we can nick a win, but in truth Spuds have a seriously good team. To put the Mancs away as they did I would imagine they will be coming into this with sky high confidence. Heart says a draw is a brilliant result, head says they will have too much for us, but I hope we can be competitive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
