While it could work, he has a very very similar profile to Andre Gray before he came here. Done well at Burnley at the Championship. Injuries have curtailed his progress at PL level which I think puts him firmly in the ‘unknown’ category. Not saying it wouldn’t be an idea to risk it - but not sure it’s a marked improvement on what we already have.

 

Can't see us going for him purely because of his injuries. If he stayed fit though, I agree he could be a great addition.

I'm sure a new striker will be announced out of the blue, probably someone we've never heard of from a european or south American league that's gonna smash it. Sell him for 60 mill next year, jobs a gooden!

To be fair to him, he isn’t injury prone. He did his ACL which is bad luck and can happen to anyone. Then he did it again upon his return which is just spectacular bad luck. But he’s not injury prone in the way a Sturridge is. If he rehabs correctly, there’s no reason why he can’t come back withoutvthat injury affecting him again. Whether he trusts his knees in the same way is another matter. It will likely be more of a mental issue than a physical one with him I suspect.

 

Tom Ince is a *****, can't get the image of him celebrating in front of the rookery out of my head (when he scored for Blackpool against us in the Championship).

He is and always will be a waste of talent that will forever play in the championship.

 

Fair enough, I mean I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed him it's just the medical team have been working double time recently!

I see Fulham are signing Andre Surrle who is a world cup winner and wanted all over Europe not so long ago. Either Fulham are pulling off a coup or he's become not as good as it appeared a few years ago.
Wolves will blow it out the water this season and finish mid table or higher. Fulham have made some good signings. It's going to be tough again to stay away from trouble. Of the promoted teams Cardiff look like real strugglers but who else? This is where having a guy who can score 10-15 goals will be key. At the moment we don't have that man. Which is why as usual I am worried.

 

Well here's some good news for you: he's been varying degrees of **** since he left Chelsea four years ago. He performed just about serviceably in that Wolfsburg team that De Bruyne re-emerged from, before being bought by Dortmund as a panacea for Tuchel after his team was mostly sold out from under him (Schurrle being Tuchel's favourite little lad). During his time there, he managed to get displaced by two teenagers playing their first senior football ever, our very own boi Sancho and Chrstian Pulisic. Dortmund fans are happy to be getting shot of him for half the fee they paid to be able to get any decent cash at all.
