Deeney was one of the players with a stomach bug this week but unlike the others, it's actually made him fitter as he lost a stone and a half.
Pick Prodl and hope he infects all of the Palace players. No problem if he infects ours, as we're not going to get any more points this season anyway
I cannot remember when I last looked forward to a match so little. At the moment I cannot see us getting another point. I know that is almost certainly wrong and we could pick up another win or two even but all my enthusiasm for the season has drained away.
Tomorrow we're going to a computer Coder Dojo at the Oxford University Maths Dept from 11 until 1 (free) https://coderdojooxfordcouk.wordpress.com/, Then we're going to drop into the Greek Food Festival at Oxford Town Hall (free) https://allevents.in/oxford/greek-food-festival/1589693661045272 Then in the afternoon we're going down Iffley Road to Oxford Brookes Uni's Outburst festival, where I've lashed out £1 for 4Cyclones to go in the 'Drawing With Light' long exposure photography activity. https://www.brookes.ac.uk/outburst/whats-on/2018/drawing-with-light/ So that's three events for a total cost of £1. You can stick yer £35 football up yer VAR.
I like this quote. Can I use it? I may place it as my signature along the lines of "You can shove video replay's up your VARse".
Song for Saturday to the tune of Seasons in the Sun (remember that one) Gracia, Gracia well never score a goal Because we can't cross the ball and Deeney ' s far to slow.
I'm a little more optimistic about tomorrow's game now. I've just checked the weather forecast and it's going to be sunny.
I know what you mean I know what you mean. If we cannot beat Huddersfield there is little to hang on to. All our players are either out of form or just can't be asked. A little run at the end of the season would have given us some renewed hope. Groundhog day feeling!
It’s gone beyond that for me sadly. I’m convinced a ‘little run’ of results would be merely papering over the cracks and I’d be fearful for next season. The capitulation of the last few weeks and the complete lack of effort away from home cannot be eradicated from my mind.
Had a dream Watford win three nil In same dream I was also being chased by snakes who were after my mini eggs Make of that what you will
Mini eggs are precious to you. A nice little treat. A reminder of happy childhood times. Snakes always represent fear and something evil, manipulative or Portuguese You feel threatened either in your work or home life. You worry someone or some people are out to cause you harm or make you unhappy by taking something away
Yes, possibly, but that’s based on performance rather than ability. Put another way, Dyche, after three years in charge of this lot (yes, I know) would have us with more points than Burnley have now.
I've never got the hype over mini eggs; to me they are one of the most banal and average easter chocolates available. The hard candy shell is just a drag, and then there's standard cadbury chocolate in the middle. There's all kinds of great **** you can get instead, like creme eggs. I'm now realising I did not have a single creme egg this easter period, which blows my mind. A lot of people, myself included, seem to associate 'Lindor' with easter nowadays, and they are brilliant.
I was having to deal with a schizophrenic that had missed his medication and kept talking about snakes everywhere the day before The same day I also picked up mini eggs for a snack That what fuelled the dream In reality I know everyone in work and at home want to make me unhappy I like snakes, make nice belts Cannot remember childhood The only unsolved bit is the 3 nil Watford win
If I want a chocolate egg I don't wait till Easter my physical state substantiates that Mini eggs are massively overrated , I only had them to continue the theme of my day - disappointment Lindt or kinder for me
Reading the latest injury update it seems might be snowed under with returns for last game of the season Like the lads from work who end there sick leave one day before they can **** off on their booked summer holidays and not get pulled by HR Flip flops already on
Dream state aside I've gone for Btts, each team over three corners, each team over 2 cards 20/1 £7 I'd really like to hit 40 points tomorrow, it's sad I'm starting to look at Southampton and stokes fixtures and guessing what they will lose rather than what we will win to stay up Mathematically they could both overtake us, so I never consider us safe till the numbers add up Would be a shame to finish season just above drop zone and tomorrow is best remaining chance to hit 40
