Oh I know why. Because we are absolutely **** in defence and the players are on holiday from october onward
It doesn't matter if it happens or not......it will piss off the Palace fans, and that's all that counts.
Anyone else pissed off with being a 10-12th placed prem team for 7/8 of the seasonwith a bright start. Then giving up at holloween before finishing 17th? I know I am. Can I get a first half season ticket?
We may well have done. But it would be good to give a few teams a game in The final 1/3rd of the season
There are only three certainties in life: death, taxes and Watford losing to Palace. Does anyone think we will get a point?
Right, the Watford players (if you read this forum, which I doubt cos we're only fans and know fck all about football) Just bl00dy put some effort in and win this. You all know that Zaha will do a million step overs and when they don't work, he'll lob himself to the ground a million times, and by the rules of percentages, the ref will buy one and they'll get a pen or a free kick in a dangerous area, and with respect, you have been pretty p1ss poor at defending free kicks this season..so don't give him the opportunity. You all know that Townsend is on a little run of form, so pay attention to what he does and where he goes, and Mark him. What you may not know, as you're only players and not fans, winning games actually means a lot to us. We spend a good deal of money and time supporting you, and then there's the bragging rights at work for the rest of the week of you do well against someone. Losing does have an effect on even the most thick skinned football fans, so for probably the last time this season, you have a good chance to win a game, don't fck it up by not trying. Thankyou
We are going to win this. There will be a buzz around the team and Peryra will score before half time. Prodl will head in a second and Doucoure will complete the win. Deeney will be an irrelevant waste of space.
I am completely shocked that a large proportion of the squad can read and understand English. As that is the language of the training ground, I had thought the principle reason we look hopeless at set pieces; frequent passes to empty space,; players only making effective runs toward the changing rooms at half time; gesticulating at officials while the opposition set up and execute winning free kicks, etc was our lack of effective communication skills among the team.
What's this 'we are only fans and know **** all about football' thing everyone keeps repeated? Something Deeney said?
I would be...mightily. It would take some doing to finish 17th behind a team that was on zero points after 7 games. Financially, should have taken what Everton offered for Silva...was it £10 million? Plus, the new manager - brought in earlier - could well have achieved an 8th/9th finish and another "extra" £10-15 million. All told - an extra £20-25 million in Pozzo's coffers.
Out of interest I had a quick look at our record over the last ten matches of each of our three most recent PL seasons. 2015-16 Won 2 Drawn 2 Lost 6 2016-17. Won 3 Drawn 0 Lost 7 2017-18. Won 1 Drawn 1 Lost 4 (with 4 matches still to play) (so far) Three very miserable endings to the seasons.
The only good thing about this match is that it's 1 less game I ever have to go to at home until these journeymenw*nkers have left the club. We all know we'll lose, it's bl**dy obvious.
If someone had offered me finishing 8 places above WBA at the start of the season, I’d have taken it. You think it would have guaranteed Europe & possibly the very title itself. Definitely 6 places above Soton. Being organised & putting in effort (Burnley, Udders) > having quality players (Soton) in the bottom half league. When an organised team loses its organisation, the wheels drop off (Stoke, WBA).
Zaha is on great form. Zaha always does well against us. This is going to be a long day. For those watching anyway. I think I'll spend an afternoon in London Bridge having a crisp cool pint, and snacking on some food from Borough Market. I'll read the meltdown on here when I'm home, and feel like I've watched a 90 minute match in about 10.
They decided there was no point ordering one, given he would be here such a short period, and given the order lead time.
Maybe "in this moment" is the only English phrase he can recall after hitting the port? I have always blindly kept the faith in Watford for the predictions game, always predicting a win or draw. This week I shall be predicting a Palace victory. Therefore it is written in the stars that, against all odds, we shall win. You heard it here first.
