Prediction. Deeney starts. Doesn't score. We ride our luck in the game keeper makes great saves. Deulofeu scores a curling drive second half. We win the game 1-0.

Definitely Zaha Palace in the vile club list. Awful fans, smug owner, diving cheats. What's not to not like?

    I'm still sulking about Spam.
If I start to worry about this match with all the attendant complications, I will place myself in a padded cell, with a red crayon and start scrawling 'Slither' all over the walls.
Now where can I purchase a straightjacket?

Looks like a spirit stronger than war was at work that night

They absolutely hated the inspiral carpets and often talked about beating the c*** out of them when they next met them.

Two hit wonders with typical big scouser mouths

    Burnsy, how was Iceland?

Apologies if you’ve covered this elsewhere.

In response to your fourth point, my favourite film is Mulholland Drive.

Well Everton are the new Luton , in years to come 16 year old kids will say on this forum why do you hate that 2nd division side Everton and we will all as one respond with “because they are ****s”

    3-1 Watford

Best holiday Cuba, worst Malta aged 18 (you have never experienced disappointment until you realise as a horny 18 year old that the best a holiday destination has to offer is Popeye World)

It was amazing thank you. Bloody pricey though. Spent 7 days trying to find one thing that they did cheaper than other countries - never found it. But some of the sights were so beautiful and jaw-dropping that it actually hurt your eyes! Spent the last night watching us smash Chelsea whilst singing Helguson songs with 3 Icelandic guys who were as big as a whole NFL team. Would heavily recommend it.

    Intriguing, was it:
    Flavoured Crushed Ice?
    Whale oil?
    Frozen food?
    Volcanic lava lamps?
    Women?

I expect Iceland 2 England 1 Euro 2016 came up while singing the Helguson songs?
I believe the ice fields/glaciers/volcanoes etc are a sight to behold.

The one thing in Iceland that is cheaper than anywhere else is energy - all that free hot water bubbling out of the ground.

Brilliant place with lovely people, as you say

I liked the flea market in Sofia where a row of stalls on one side was selling Ref Army stuff while stalls on the other side were selling Nazi stuff.

A Polish friend of mine bought a Nazi cigarette case to use as a business card holder. Not sure how much use she made of it, though, as she worked for a German company.

That’s true. And I will genuinely make the bold claim that a pint of their tap water is the best hangover cure I’ve ever encountered. Easily the crispest, clearest water I’ve ever had and it comes free out of their taps...
Sadly none of the above. And it was actually me that brought up the Euro 2016 thing - they were remarkably quiet about it. Was odd encountering fans who don’t wish to lord it over you at every opportunity. Disturbing.

Would highly recommend the place to any who haven’t been. Gloria Hunniford over and out.

Back to the topic somewhat - but not really...can we PLEASE mute Z-Cars for this one??
